spastic sounds, fantastic lights
a raving clown with mad happy feet
rain drizzles
this is an island of despair
manic whistles and a red crest
a beautiful bird and a bolt through it's chest
wind and sand
sun blood red at noon
baked tables and a dried out feast
foots steps fading all that remains of the beast
artic and white
a crystal palace
and an ice chalice
cracked empty and crystal clear
waiting for new years
a smile a grin
white teeth showing above a chin
eyes winking and bright
head bopping to some delight
a mirage perfect with no flaw
few know the madness lurking behind the maw
