This may not be the right place to post this however i am new and didnt know where else to post.Anyway if the boiling point of mdma cant be reached....how far below boiling point will still register a black/purple reaction...good q huh...
 
Am i being ignored for a reason? I thought it was a good question? will the ez tester show a black purple reaction to impure mdma that did not reach the proper boiling point?
 
It may take a little more time to get an answer.
I don't the boiling point is a factor in the reaction. It's a spontaeneous reaction.
 
I think I understand..
essentially, if there is MDxx present, you will get the purple->black type reaction. If the synthesis is incomplete (i.e. you have MDP2P) or something like that, I really couldn't tell you what colour would show
