EZ Test Results

I took some pills this past weekend that had the Omega sign on them. They had a high quality look to them with a beveled edge. They were pink with white specks. Anyway, they ended up being very mild. I had a mild speedy feeling for a bit but that's about it. I did have big pupils and pot helped it a bit.

I did the ez test 3 part test. These are the results I got...

Marquis: Turned brown in about 10 seconds
Simons: Turned dark purple
Robadope: Turned faint orange

Can anyone tell me what they think the pills were?

You got a meth pill... possible with a bit of amph...
It doesn't look like this perchance?

It looks like that but is definately pink with subtle white specks. Also, the press is very good..no chipped edges and binded very well.

What's the difference between meth and amph? What do my test results mean? If the Simons test turns to dark purple, doesn't it mean that it has some trace of MDMA?

exactly! brown with marquis means it is speed, after this you do simons and robadope to see whether it is meth (simons goes blue) or amp (robadope shows red/purple, no reaction wiith simons).

If I understand this correctly, if the Marquis test shows anything other than dark blue/purple, it does not contain any MDMA? The other 2 tests do not check for MDMA?

that's it. the other tests discriminate between primary and secondary amines. mda, amp, pma, etc vs mdxa, pmma, meth, etc. marquis shows the functional group, i.e. ecstasylike substance, speedlike substance or 2CB like substance

What would happen under the following conditions? (what color would Marquis show)

1. If the pill was 50% MDMA and 50% speed like substance?
2. Less than 50% MDMA and more than 50% speed like substance?
3. More than 50% MDMA and less than 50% spedd like substance?

Last, if Simon's turns dark blue/purple what are the different secondary amines that may be present?

the darker reaction from mdma will generally overpower the color for speed, so you will probably see a dark purple color. if a pill contains more than 1 substance, and it is badly mixed you might see parts that give a different color, or other a-typical characteristics in the reaction, ie. mucky color, weird color sequences, etc. examples of secondary amines are mdma, mdea, pmma, meth, etc. just look at the molecule and see if the nitrogen (N) is stuck to the last carbon (primary amine) or the second to last carbon (secondary amine) on the chain.
