I've heard you can test 200 pills with one kit is this true? and how long does it take before the kit expire?

The kit contains 200 drops, which if used with caution, should test about 200 pills, however, the dropper often lets out more than a drop if you aren't careful.
Keep the kit upright at all times, and the liquid should keep for at least a few months. Keeping it upright prevents the dropper from getting immersed in the reagent, which is acidic, and will react with the dropper, causing it to spoil

One more remark.
Our dropper does not react to the reagent or at least a lot lesser than ...(well, the other test kits).
We understand that over a longer period of time, our liquid goes slightly yellowish. Apparently, the others go brownish over a certain peiod of time.
The dropper has always been an issue. We prefer to have a dropper that makes the liquid last longer. However, our dropper does require 'better dropping skills'.
Once you know how to do it, it works well. Keep the little thingie that lets the air in, pointed upwards, then one drop will come out very slowly.
