Eyeballing heroin

Hello guys. I've been a long time member of bluelight but I don't post much.
I have a alot of experience with IV coke but have never had opiates.

My question is:
How to eyeball heroin so I take a safe dosage? I am tolerance-free and came by some china white wich is probably around 70-80% pure (i've been told, but it's not tested). I was thiking about 5-10mg of that.
But... how to dose that since I don't have a mg scale?

Roughly, how much is a match head sized bump in mg?

There is no way to measure it even with a scale. Unless you have lab tested it for purity you have no idea how pure it is or if it's even heroin and not fentanyl. The only real way to test it would be to snort, swallow, smoke, or shoot (whichever method you will be using to dose) a very small amount. If you don't feel that then wait until you have reached the half life of heroin then take a slightly larger dose.

I don't have any experience with heroin but I do know it's very easy to OD on potent opiates. Since you said you don't have a tolerance you should probably start with a dose smaller than a match head just to be safe.

Please be careful you really shouldn't be fucking with heroin if you have never had opiates.

This. Go out and enjoy some Vicodin if you've never had opiates before.

Did you drink Everclear your first time drinking? Doing heroin would most likely make you sick and not even be enjoyable.
 
Honestly eyeballing heroin that's relatively pure can end in absolute disaster. In fact if it were not for my huge tolerance to opiates I'm pretty sure the heroin I took today would have killed me, foolishly believing it was cocaine. I snorted it too.

People are saying you shouldn't fuck with it, but to me it sounds like you've made your mind up and have it on you, so that's not really going to do much or help you. All I can suggest is purchasing some scales and literally wait, though that will be difficult, it's better to do so than dying. Heroin is extremely potent from my experience, and through IV use its a completely different kettle of fish. If you have no tolerance you have to be extremely careful with the dosing. If you still are insisting on it, I suggest making a MATCHHEAD size bump to start with, use that, if effects are not to your liking after give or take 10-15 minutes, make another matchhead bump. While it's not exactly the best due to IV use, it will most likely prevent you from overdosing while you don't have scales, and don't know the potency of the drug.

When I said 5-10mg I meant not of the pure heroin, but of the actual dope I have.
Maybe i'll snort first a matchead bump before IV, that's safer.
Any idea how much roughly that would weight?
 
yes, i think that would be a good idea - though you'll have to wait about 20 minutes or so for it to take full effect, so don't be tempted to re-dose straight away (like i did earlier on) and end up taking some silly heroic dose and end up dead. i'm lucky to have a tolerance. the poor bastards that ended up with this stuff thinking it was cocaine... i can only imagine, i hope they didn't do what i did.

well it all depends on what your match head looks like. it's very hard to gauge doses eyeballing. i've always eyeballed and seemed to get the desired effect through doing that though it is playing with fire with a drug like heroin. yeah i thought you were talking about the batch of heroin you had hence why i didn't understand why others were suggesting to leave it alone and just take vicodins, i do understand, but you've got it there in front of you and i doubt you're going to just throw it away.

also note that snorting it is no where near as powerful as IV'ing it (i believe, though i could be wrong, someone correct me on this). you could try plugging it if you're not against that.

it's just a very chancy drug - i doubt that anything will go seriously wrong with a match head sized bump, but then again, it is an extremely potent opiate and you have no tolerance whatsoever. i've amassed a huge tolerance but at the same time i've worked my way up through the opiate ladder so to speak.
 
If you insist. Do a bump the size of a pinhead.
(literally a pinhead sized amount, even for someone opiate tolerant I'd only say a line as big as your thumbnail--that was as much as I did my first time and I was 'hallucinodding' as whosajiggawwa would say)

And on what you said about eyeballing: yeah, it's weird, I can eyeball really well for cocaine, with shitty ones and super pure ones, because ive been so used to IV it. But I can in no way relate the knowledge from one powder to another hahaha.
