Heroin Extremely mad on dope

Hi im a pretty casual user( once every 3 or so days but this weekend i did shot up 2 days in a row.) and i swear every other time i shoot dope i get so mad at just slow or "dumb" people or things. for example like south park i usually find funny and great but the handicapped kid in that show drove me so crazy one time i almost broke the remote. By the way im also bipolar so i dont know if that has anything to do with it. But basically the point of starting this thread was to ask if any of you guys have similar reactions or experiences. Also im sorry for the terrible grammar im really high right now =(
 
This isn't harm reduction and will probably get closed. But coming down from heroin can make you extremely agitated. It's quite common. EDIT; shooting is a really slippery slope. I would suggest quitting now before you find yourself with a horrible addiction. Be careful.
 
I am a heroin addict, and I also have a short temper with people while high. People that are annoying, dumb, doing embarrassing/ridiculous things, and people that are way too high piss me off to no end while high. I know it sounds weird that people nodding bothers me, but I use with a couple of my best friends and we keep it secret from everyone else, so we've always maintained some sort of decorum about using. We don't get to the point of nodding, and actually prefer just being high while still functional so we can go about our days while feeling good. I get pretty talkative while high and having someone nodding and mumbling nonsensically is something I don't have time for. So yeah, I can relate to the OP. My grammar isn't affected by use though, nor my intelligence. I took my ACT high, and got a 32. Granted, maybe I would have done better if I was sober? Who knows, I had a physical addiction at the time and there was no way I was going dope sick.
 
Agree. I have a very short temper. Using Methadone. But this goes with any opioid with me. Some more, some less. I'm getting extremely angry over everything plus everything annoys me, stuff that usually wouldn't.
 
Lol was it the episode where the kid was sing the 12 days of Christmas? That was pretty rediculous. Dope usually chills me out, but oxy used to make me and my fruends get pissed. We even had a name for it, "perc rage". Part of it is its effects on you, another part is your high is only a couple hours long, so it's easy to get impatient with slow people if you don't want your high to wear off while your waiting on someone.
 
nah i dont remember what episode it was exactly but he basically called stan's girlfriend a cunt because he couldn't make out a sentence. But yah i found that weed kinda helps chill you out when angry.

When I used oxycodone off & on last year, I use to get so irate with people, I just stop using oxycodone for that reason. I dont get irate using hydrocodone or morphine. I never used heroin so I cant say anything about that drug.
 
I know where you're coming from bro, we all get the opiate rage sometimes. Especially at things otherwise annoying like that one guy that just has to stand at the wrong side in the escalator, or the one who always thinks everyone else want hear what he's talking about on the phone on the subway these could make me lash out in anger lol. However minor annoyances such as usb cable not fitting on the first and 2nd try would also make me rage lol.

Yea man i know exactly what your saying. I dont get it as much anymore doing dope (still happens rarely though), but a couple years back when I was just sniffing oxycodone I used to get that fucking rage all the time. Shit was crazy. Me and my friends would have such short tempers with each other.
 
Dope can turn me into a total dick sometimes. I was trying to teach my little brother to play the saxophone last night and it was not pretty. I have no patience for things like teaching when im high.
 
Hahaha I'm what you'd call opiate naive and I can definitely relate to you OP. I don't get TOO angry, but there have been times when I've taken hydrocodone and gotten, noticeably, unnecessarily angry for dumb things.

Opiate rage for sure.
 
Yeah, dope will sometimes make me get ridiculously impatient with people, like if they're saying something and not getting to the point fast enough or whatever...it really pisses me off. Maybe because I don't want to have to be making the extra effort to understand them when I'm high haha
 
Lol good ol opiate rage.

I still get it sometimes, especially if I dosed and I know I'm out after that. Almost sounds like a waste
