I have been using methamphetamine since last September then i April of this year i was admitted into the hospital for fear i was having a heart attack or something like that. it turns out nothing was wrong but a small overdose of methamphetamine and a panic attack. they did they looked at my heart function and said it was fine and i needed a bit of potassium. however now every time i smoke or snort some crystal no matter how small the amount the veins in my arms and hands shrink, i get cold extremities that i never got before, and my heart rate goes wild sometimes its normal at other times it sounds distant and sometimes it pounds. I have a bit of a billing issue with the hospital otherwise i would make an appointment right away. has anyone experienced anything like what i have been experiencing? and what are some ways of eliminating vasocontriction?

Meth is very vasoconstricting & smoking or IVing it rly brings out that characteristic. I highly advise that you quit using, but if you do, then I recommend a small dose of a benzo to help assuage the downsides.

P.S. IDK if you've been in contact w the hospital, but when I ODed on heroin, I simply called the billing dep't, told them my financial situation & they actually have a charity fund that covered all of my bill.

Only vasodilating downers in combination that you could get addicted to would do it. Making sure you eat first than waiting so you don't get nauseous also helps with both anxiety and vasoconstriction. If you smoke it will massively exacerbate the side effects.

Does anyone know if an huge dose of niacin would work? I hear it causes flushing.

ergh i get this with cocaine (which i know is different) A LOT, and it sucks ball sacks. the only way i've found to stop the enormous vasoconstriction from usually heroic doses are with other substances that are terribly addictive and frankly should only be used in absolute emergencies.

to be honest what you're suffering from sounds a lot like a panic attack induced from your incident. i know the first time i did cocaine i believed i was genuinely having a heart attack because i could see my heart beating out of my chest - it took a long long time to get over that. you've most likely always suffered from those side effects however you're now paying more attention to them. in my opinion your options are:

1. quit using that toxic chemical for a while and see how you react to it in say... a month or two's time
2. stop using that chemical forever (probably the most wise)
3. use benzos before dosing (HOWEVER THIS IS THE SUREFIRE PATH TO EITHER BENZO ADDICTION - WHICH IS 100X WORSE OR DEATH).
