HELP!!!
I've been suffering from extreme, I mean extreme, fatigue for the last few weeks.
I eat well and take a multivitamin every day. I sleep 7 to 8 hrs a night. I get a moderate amount of exercise. I'm not overweight. My drinking and drugging varies, but I don't do anything to an extreme-- certainly not the way I used to (I'm 56). I do suffer some depression but it seems to be relatively mild right now. I have some back and shoulder pain, but not severe. I tested negative for diabetes about six months ago.
I have never been this lethargic for so long. I feel utterly exhausted all of the time. Just getting up the energy to do anything is a huge chore. Hydrocodone or oxycodone help tremendously but I don't wanna get strung out like I have been in the past, so I only take a couple pills a day and not every day. Any kind of amp would be great, but I don't have good connections and don't wanna get dependent on that stuff, either. I love coffee but it doesn't help. I don't know much about herbal remedies but the ones I've tried in the past didn't seem to do anything.
Any ideas? I don't have a regular doctor, but if this goes on much longer I will find one. Until then, what do you do for increased energy? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a tight budget but I will try anything I can afford.
Thank you for your help.
