I've been on strattera about a week and a half now. It seems to be working well and helping with concentration. Yesterday and today I indulged in some oxycontin. Yesterday I did the usual amount but noticed there was an extremely different euphoria to the high and longer duration. I really couldnt believe it so i tried it again today, samething happened. My question is if this new high to OC is due to the Strattera I am on now. Any general info about NARI's and opiates could help too. Thanks

I thought strattera was a SNRI (selective norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor). Sorry I dont have any specific info for you, except that I cant think of any interaction the 2 would have, but I am no expert. It is possible, especially if the strattera by itself is giving you euphoric effects and overall stimulation. Set and setting are also things that might be giving you a different feeling.

did you by any chance do the drug in a different place or time than you are used to?

It's certainly possible. A similar thing happened to me when I started SSRIs, though the effect faded after a couple months.
