a few weeks ago i extracted DXM using the agent lemon process and im wondering if i can extract the DXM from that lemon juice using the single phase acid-base extraction on erowid http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/faq/dxm_chemistry.shtml. pretty much i have the agent lemon juice and i want to add it to the 16 OZs of robo that im extracting to get powder dxm. and if that would work, how much more naphtha and NaOH do i have to use? do i like add the amount of naphtha proportional to the volume of liquid or proportional to the amount of DXM in the agent lemon? get what im saying? thanks!

I'm not too sure what you are asking, try to clear up your post a bit.
So you did the Agent Lemon extraction from the link you posted?
If so, why is it exactly you now want to extract the DXM from the liquid solution?
If you wanted to get powdered/crystal/solid DXM, why didn't you follow the single phase acid-base procedure from the same link you posted?
Its possible to go to the corner pharmacy (walgreens, walmart, rite-aid, cvs, etc) and buy Robitussin gel caps that contain nothing [active] but DXM ... meaning no extraction necessary...
You could boil down your solution of DXM-salt + citric acid + water; the water will boil off at 100 C; this would leave a residue of DXM-salt and Anhydrous Citric Acid but this wouldn't be any better on your stomach than just drinking the original mixture of DXM-salt + citric acid + water.
I am not confident what would happen if you just added a base to your solution and then boiled down from there. Ie, NaOH + Citric Acid --> Sodium Citrate + water, but I'm not sure what would happen to the DXM floating around in your solution.

i didnt have NaOH at the time and didnt want to wait and order it online, i needed some of the agent lemon at the time.
and ya, i might just boil it down to the anhydrous critic acid and dxm, good idea, although it may be difficult to scrape out of a pan =/
