Extracting DXM from Sucrets Cough Suppressant Lozenges

I've obtained a good amount of Sucrets' 10mg dextromethorphan cough drops. I have five boxes of eighteen each. Anyway, I found a few extraction guides and I'm still a little iffy.. They basically say to crush the pills, filter it outs with coffee strainers, and after washing throw away the 'gunk' and take what's left. Well, from what I know, DXM isn't soluble in water, so isn't it more logical to take the left-over gunk? If anyone could provide with me a could way to do this, I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you.

What's in those sucrets that can't make you take them as they are? I'd give anything to have DXM in pills or suryp, I've vomited several times just because of the taste.
 
Just DXM is in the Sucrets, but they're really big and they have loads of sugar in them. For 40 Sucrets (400mg DXM), it would take about ~9 oz. of water to dissolve all of the cough drops. After this, the pink water tastes worse than Vicks 44. I don't think there has ever been a time when I have ingested Sucrets to trip and haven't thrown up.

I prefer Robitussin over any other DXM containing product, but the taste and thickness has been getting to me recently which has let me to try this extraction process. Thanks.

Swallow the tablets and drink 9oz of water and let it dissolve in your stomach?

If it's just sugar in them I guess you can filter the liquid
through a micron filter.
 
no, heres what you do. ive done it before and it was the smoothest trip ive ever had. i hit the 1st plateau with 1 box.

put all the lozenges in a microwave-safe cup/bowl/dish. preferably a cup. put water into the cup til all the lozenges are covered. microwave them for 1-minute intervals, stirring in-between. if any pink stuff comes upon the spoon, just toss it, you dont want that. when all of them are dissolved and all the candy gunk is out of the cup, you should see white powder settling at the bottom. ice down the water and drink up! if the taste makes you gag, eat some chocolate before you cough it up.

i actually preferred this taste to robo max. only done it once though.

you can actually chew up a bunch of sucrets pretty fast. although they get stuck in your teeth, it tastes way better than tussin(EWWW). tonight ill have to chew up 48 of em to get 480mg. last time i chewed up 24 of em in about 5 mins.
 
Those nasty sucrets things are almost as bad as ccc. They dont have the evil anti-histamine, but have a very low dose of dxm and taste remarkably shitty. Go agent lemon or some such if you want to extract the dxm. Just get generic walgreens cough gels if you are in the usa.
 
The best way to extract

I'll keep it simple

Supplies:
sucrets lousenges (as many as you perfer)
Empty gelatin caps (found at nutritions stores, etc..)
microwavable cup.
Coffee filters (optional)

Procedure:
1. Crush up lounsenges and place them in cup and add water.
2. Place in microwave for 1 minute. Then look at solution.
3. Repeat step 2 several times until you see the solid shite powder at the bottom

Next step 4b is optional

4a. Discard liquid left over and keep the white powder which is the pure dxm.
4b. Drain cup of liquid and powder into coffee filter and let most of the liquid drain. Then put coffee filters in the microwave and cook till dry. Place powder In caps and swallow. Keep In mind the amount of dxm in the entire batch and take as many caps accordingly. Have fun and take a safe amount. Be prepared to trip for several hours and feel dizziness
