Extracted san pedro

I recently left about a .7 of san pedro in a warmish car for about two weeks, it was in a sealed contained and in a small dark pouch. From what I have found on the interwebs mescaline is a very stable chemical but I was just wondering if my extract may have degraded or even become non active, does anyone have any experience in this department? I am just wondering because I was planning to take it for an event but I don't want to be disappointed, thanks in advance.

The alkaloids won't have degraded at all. As long as your pedro isn't mouldy, you should be fine to do an extract or make a tea.

Even if it is moldy you are still fine to do an extract. Whatever the mold is won't survive the high acidic and basic conditions and probably won't migrate between polar and non-polar phases. Your probably fine making a tea too. Boiling water kills most things.
