Exploration of thoughts.

I haven't written anything much of late. I started this as an exercise to record some of my feelings/observations of the last few weeks.

It's written in Haiku form (3 line verses of 5-7-5 syllables). Each verse was written separately, but I'll post the whole selection together. There may be more to come, hopefully more positive than this

Yet never rocking the boat
Hiding true feelings

Flesh drawn together
Pleasure and pain entangled
Embrace ecstasy

Public smile a facade
Crystalline melancholy
Stains cheeks when alone

Fake euphoria
Inhaled paranoia
Bitter Aftertaste

Indecisiveness
Crazy dreamer lost the way
Complete frustration

Old habits die hard
Writing my only solace
Confide in no-one

This is really good. It is well written and creative. My thing is, when I read a haiku I am taken aback with the vision of a Japanese businessman weeping and lamenting over a haiku at some wacky bar. =)

Mean Girl...that's pretty much it. I've struggled to write anything of late, so I thought by doing this exercise and stripping the emotions right back, I might be able to get some words down.

your descriptivenss is nothing short of amazing and the choice of words is well suited aswell...
