Explaination for psychedelic time dilation?

nice answers given..
I would say it's not only dilation but also contraction..
Like, as if it is time dilation for some time but then time suddenly contracts. Usually what I describe above happens when you fall deeply into trance or concentrate really hard on something.

So: Explanation For Psychedelic Time Dilation : Time is relative. :D
