I found some tramadol around my house, only catch it was filled on July 18, 2006. So they are almost 8 years old now, they are still white and not discolored in anyway and do not have an odor of any kind or anything that could point me to them being bad. So other than them being old and probably less potent would there be anything wrong with taking them?

If they were stored well I'd say they're safe. but I'd be cautious and try taking a small amount at first just to be sure. I'm no expert so please just take this as an opinion and nothing more. I was on tramadol for four years though so I know a bit about it but not what happens as it ages. I know most pills age well and just loose potency over time. good luck and be safe please.

I recently found 300 mg of Tramadol in my closet and took them (have been off Tramadol since 2010). They were still fine IME :).

Just take them would be my advice/opinion.

Long as there were stored fine that there will be fine,
Have used expired oxy, morphine tabs in my time and all were fine

I took them and they worked fine. Same potency as if new it seems also.

Yup, that's how most of them are. I've had percocet that were over 12 years old, and they knocked me on my ass just as hard as they do brand new :)
