Expired Phenobarbital?

Phenobarbital - semi-urgent

I have some prescribed Phenobarbital from like 1-2 years ago ,, would that be expired?

pharms rarely actually "expire" if anything they MAY become less potent. i think i read somewhere once that the FDA required a experation date, even though pharms may never actually "go bad".
 
great posts guys they are 60mg tabs how many should i be railing? or smoking? to get riped

actually, maybe read the whole thread, just so you have knowledge about what you're putting into your body, that's always a good idea.

i would take 60mg to begin with and effects don't start until about 8-12 hrs after ingestion says *wiki.

so if you wanna be fucked up tomorrow, take 60mg tonight. lol. dont go redosing either, it's pointless. it will just be a drug you will have to try on multiple occasions to find the right dosage for you.
 
URG, that sucks! nowi realize why the first 60mg tab i took never kicked in, i took it mid day and was probibly sleeping when it finally did.

is there ANY other way of adminitring this drug so that i feel it nearly immediately?!? any response is helpfull thanks
 
Simply put it up the rear.

But you have to know what the perfect dose for you is.

60mgs isn't going to do squat for anyone. 120-180 mgs is appropriate for a rec user.
Remember with barbs, your recreational dose is gonna be a high therapeutic dose in the beginning.

Just know that it last 12 hours, so do not be alarmed if you wake up and immediately lose your balance. (It happens.)

That's not exactly what wiki says, and it's not correct. According to Wikipedia, peak plasma concentration is reached 8-12 hours after oral administration. I'm not entirely sure it's correct. Another source (Wilensky et al, Eur J Clin Pharmacol, 23, 1982) states that peak plasma concentration is attained in 0.5 to 4 hours (mean 1.5 h).

Onset of effects is not the same as the time at which peak plasma concentration is reached. Onset is within 1 hour by the oral route.
