SWIM's friend came across expired 5mg Diazepam tabs, prescribed to him for Muscle Spasms some time ago, the prescription bottle says they are expired. Would it be dangerous to take these? Would they still be effective, or of any use whatsoever?

As others have said, they'll be safe to use. Just be mindful of your dosage.
