Hey any one ever heard of a Dub artist from the early ninetys called depth charge ? Searched the tube but all i could find was some shizzy dubstep type stuff .. Think they were quite popular as i have heard them in a few mixs including an andrew wetherhall mix and a leftfield essential mix if i can remember right ... The one song i heard was top notch. i need MORE !

Been around since about 1989, big breakbeat stuff. Remember them being hailed as a big influence on The Prodigy - they sampled Bounty Killers on Full Throttle off the Jilted Generation album.

Hi-noticed an interest in 'Tears of ochre'

Name now changed to 'Tears of ochre (Unune),there are many places I've enabled free downloads which also include old works as 'Agony for pleasure' amongst others-need to update some things-but most can be found easily. Stephen Surreal.

It feels like there's just to much to post here since I haven't posted here before. I'm mainly into psychedelic chillout, dub and minimal ambient.

There hasn't been much discussion about the new Carbon Based Lifeforms album "Twentythree" here. I consider Carbon Based Lifeforms to be one the best chillout artists ever, definitely ion my top 5 chillout artists list. They've changed their style quite much on the new album, to a much more minimal and less psybient style. It's not as easily approachable as their previous albums. I love the album, it's very hypnotic and almost completely beatless.

A few of my favourite tracks from the new album:

Somewhere In Russia

Held Together By Gravity

this video in-particular, took me out of my own nightmare just enough to see it for what it is along with my own worth...that was, just enough to be too scared to fall back asleep into that dream.
