i did some digging on some, this is what i got back.
i agree with omega 3's and creatine
i'm curious if there is anecdotal evidence to support bacopa, gingko and panax ginseng, is it worth investing in these for my brain health.

- Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA & EPA)
- Mechanism: supports neuronal membrane fluidity and reduces inflammation.
- Evidence: multiple meta-analyses show small but reliable improvements in memory and learning, especially if diet is low in omega-3s.
- Bacopa monnieri (Brahmi)
- Mechanism: antioxidant and cholinergic modulation; improves synaptic communication.
- Evidence: several randomized, placebo-controlled trials (in healthy adults and older populations) show enhanced delayed recall and learning after 8–12 weeks of consistent use.
- Ginkgo biloba
- Mechanism: improves cerebral blood flow and may modulate neurotransmitters.
- Evidence: mixed but moderately positive in meta-analyses for older adults and those with mild cognitive impairment; less clear for young, healthy users.
- Creatine monohydrate
- Mechanism: boosts cellular energy (ATP) availability, including in neurons.
- Evidence: RCTs show benefits for short-term memory and reasoning, especially under sleep deprivation or vegetarian diets.
- Panax ginseng
- Mechanism: adaptogenic; modulates stress response and cholinergic activity.
- Evidence: modest improvements in working memory and attention span, particularly with standardized extracts (e.g., G115).
