Does anyone have experience with fermentation or soaking substances in an alcoholic beverage? Particularly with fruit juice?...
I've soaked valerian and kava together in wine for a week and a half and noticed very pleasant effects--anxiolytic-wise... Kind of felt like an a2 adrenergic agonist and a "weak" benzo, like lorazepam, on top of a typical alcohol buzz..

That's all.

Blue Lotus (the dried flowers not the extract). Soak for 24 hrs in red wine then strain the lotus & bin it.

Then drink the wine. Mild sociable sedative effect plus *not unpleasent * flavour. Makes a good sangria or punch.

Obtainable from online herbal websites, not too pricey.

Thanks for your suggestion Levvytation, there is definitely a nice detectable feeling of extra calmness on top of smoking some green. Blue Lotus is sometimes a hit or miss in terms of effects, but it was prevalent this time around, and as always it is pleasantly aromatic to me as I've used it several times in the past mostly mixed with homemade hash oil, so I was pleased to find it somewhat flavorful in the wine. I'm not sure if I used too much, I just soaked and mixed it all up really well with 750 ml of wine in a larger jug so I could have more shaking room.
