Pill wise, I've mostly experienced hydrocodone, and some darvocet and codeine. Hydrocodone, by mouth, in the 20mg-40mg range gets me to where I am looking to go, which is strongly buzzed but still functional. Darvocet is too weak to really use, since the large APAP content is prohibitive and I am not really interested in extracting such a weak opioid.
The real experience for me began when I starting injecting...
I started going IM, but of course, had to try it in the vein, which, as you know, is the only way to go once you start. I would like to try and explain my subjective experience as best as possible, and would like others to post their own experience for comparison.
Morphine - I was highly interested in trying this since it is closely related to heroin (which I've never had). Usually did about 10mg, although that was fairly variable since there are many formulations available. IV, the rush happens quickly, and feels like my innards clench up and the feeling spreads from my stomach to the rest of my body. I am also overcome by a feeling of 'turning to stone' which is how the high rides for me. I feel pretty apathetic, or comfortably numb, for the duration of morphine.
Dilaudid - the rush of dilaudid is preferrable to morphine for me. Usually do 2mg, most I have done in one go is 3mg. You know the shock of jumping into a cold swimming pool? it feels like that, only warm instead of cold. I can feel the explosion travel up my spine and it makes my vision blur for a moment, and I have to just lean over and think to myself "damn!" - its a good feeling. the buzz that follows is a strong haziness, feeling pretty good, kind of like a better hydrocodone high (I know hydromorphone is a byproduct of hydrocodone metabolism).
Demerol - not often spoken of in these forums. Can't use too long due to risk of seizures. But my advice? If you get a chance to bang some of this, I recommend it. The few times I have injected demerol, its been about 100mg. I push the plunger, and a few seconds later I feel like I am floating away. If I try to speak, my voice sounds like it is coming from a mouse under a blanket, I can barely form words. It is nice. Only problem is once that awesome rush fades, I wasn't left with much to speak of. It was worth shooting, but it'd be nice to be high longer than 30 seconds!
thats all my IV experience. I once crushed and shooted hydromorphone tablets, which wasnt as good as the liquid prepped for injection. I would love to try heroin or oxycodone, but don't have any connections in those regards, and I am not into looking around on the street. Anyways, curious as to how others feel about these things.
