Opioids Experienced opiate user and npoppy pod tea

Hi all
I've been using now for over 20 years, and basically the quality of street gear up here in the nort west of the UK is hit and miss, but more often miss. Services here for users are shocking. 3-4 month waits for sub tapers over 2 month if you're lucky and no maintanace scripting.

Couple of week ago an older, wiser guy than myself suggested I switch to PPT. I put a test order in, recieved the pods and set about trying to figure out how to go about it. Bought a coffee bean grinder (after some failed attempts at manually breaking them up, and a French coffee press. So basically i can grind into powder then continue as if making coffee. Took me a while to get to this stage, and more than a few wasted pods i think.

So I am at the stage where i can grind a few pods, add hot water and come up with a dark bnrew similar to a black coffee or a strong tea without milk. Drop of honey to counteract the bitterness and it's drinkable. i generally try a second extraction, which is much lighter and weaker. I can feel there are more alkaloids than morphine as there's a more 'uppy' buzz, where conversation flows, and its hold time is notably longer than street gear here.

I've trawled the net looking for advice andt there's so much contrary stuff out there it's unbelievable. Acid water, alkali water, stovetop cooking, I have no idea if i'm wasting the material or not;. I keep seeing 80 degrees c will destroy morphine, is this true? do i need a thermometer? I was thinking of putting the coffee press in a bain-marie of some sort as the temperature dropped in the extraction, would this help?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated....the product i'm making now is way more consistent and better quality than chasing street gear

I was always under the impression that morphine burns off at 176F, which is 80C.

I have a fool proof method for seeds. But I don't think it'll be much helpful to you. I have zero experience with pods.
 
In my opinion, you shouldn't even bother with the tea, just do toss and wash by they tablespoon(start low as potentcy can vary.) When I did them it was fun to do the tea, it hits quicker, and you can always do a 2nd/3rd wash..But just doing the toss and wash you are not wasting anything, and the fiber in the pods helps with the constipation part. Tea always had me constipated, but was always able to go pretty much normally with the toss and wash method, takes longer to kick in, but you are not wasting any of the goodies this way.
 
Ive been disciading the seeds, over a local landfill site which has warm ground due to the amount of rot to a couple of methane burners there,plus no shade.. will be saving some to sow next year, I was under the impression seeds were alkaloid free and the wash was just to pull anything off the coating they'd gained whilst in the head. Been using the junk since i was 25 so constipations pretty much the norm, you learn to dose rouind it. Not familiar with toss and wash, but if it involves eating PP solids, that is where my first experiment ended up as i hadnt broken it down to fine powder, just bashed it as hard as i could and made a sorta nylon teabag then ate the remains which were truly disgusting. So i guess a thermometer is in order then, try hold the temp at 75C for the first wash. got a kilo of heads due friday, i'll experiment with some things over the weekend. Not cheap, but a damn sight cheaper than since my guy sadly passed away early this year.
 
All set to go. Thermometer, the ubiquitous citric acid and some calcium carbonate to move PH around for testing, though the method i achieved was sufficient i think. knock myself down a teaspoon or half when i feel i can and fingers crossed , one last street deal and a 10am fed-ex delivery (the local depot is about 100 metre away). roll on tomorrow.

This is what I used to do - just grind the pods and swallow the ground up material.
No waste.

From a HR perspective, I'd be very wary of consuming poppies grown on a landfill site.

The simple answer is, poppies are bioaccumulators. They will uptake and concentrate metals from the soil, like nuts and some other plants. Can this be a problem in some areas? Yes. Is it something the recreational user of home grown poppies is likely to be sickened or injured by? Staggeringly unlikely.

Soil around garbage dumps makes for a very bad place to grow poppies, if you plan to consume them...
