experienced mdma user? help me!

i'd share details of what i've done but it's different for everybody. i wouldn't want somebody to follow MY ways of binge! btw it's not the first binge i've experienced because i always come back to mdma binge after a break. i hate to say it but it's only day 4 break and i want to roll again. i don't have any mdma right now. i hate to roll on friday at rave club with my friends and went back to the binge because it keeps my headaches/stress away. what should i do? agh i want to roll once a week or month but not everyday! it's too easy for me as i can always somehow "suck it up" for hangover.

the simple answer is you should take a long break! im telling you its worth it! i gave it 2 months and WOW it felt like i was rolling for the first time again. i was so amazed by the experience im still in bliss from it and i dont want to or need to roll soon, im happy to take a 1-2month break and experience that same feeling again

If you're serious about limiting your use but are having trouble staying away, it's not easy. The main thing I would suggest is to find a hobby, preferably one that can easily consume all your free time, like World of Warcraft or something. Instead of going to a rave on Friday night, go to your hobby. You have to abstain not only from the drug, but from the lifestyle. Right now, it's so easy for you to indulge at a whim because you're still in that life style. You may go to the club with no intention of rolling, but it's around you, it's a situation you'd normally roll in and you give in.

I usually look at the events for the month, find the one I like best and plan for it and nothing else. That helps me limit it to just once a month.

I know how you feel, I find it hard to stay away and I would love to do it every day but I know it won't be as good which is the only thing stopping me.
I've been doing it once a week for the last couple months but I gonna try to go on a break before it loses it 'magic'.
Think about it this way, if you stop for a while it'll be sooo much better when you pop again :)
 
Just don't fucking roll for 3 months. It's simple.

If you keep rolling, the headaches will get worse. If you stop rolling, they will eventually die down. Very simple formula here. Do you give a shit about your health and your ability to function? If so, stop rolling for at least 3 months. This is not a difficult question.
 
i've been getting a lot of headaches and cold sweats after i wake up. sometimes through out the day i feel very tired to the point i want to sleep. i always eat food like it'll never stop. i read online that lack of serotonin can be solved by taking 5htp, i've taken 50 or 100mg 5htp with a meal at dinner time. what happens is i have crazy lucid dreams one after another. the recycle begins again with headache and cold sweats. i don't know what to do anymore. i've STOPPED taking mdma for two days now and the headache seem to get worse. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU'VE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING AFTER BINGE!


If it is unadulterated MDMA then you shouldn't really feel as horrible as you stated above.

As for 5HTP...emmn - I personally think its a hyper-fad and a waste of money.

An old fashioned way to rid the body of any by-products is to burn it off - get out - get walking - listen to fast music - walk fast and sweat it out.

The 5HTP route is a failure imo, unless you know you have uni-polar depression. That coupled with talking about it and perhaps ssri treatment may help.

But your own serotonin and endorphin neuro-transmitters are xx times more powerful than any supplements! Just give them time!

Doesnt really soudn like you the type of purson whos goes on a "binge" (whatever that means)
 
if you think 2 days is a break im scared to ask how hard you were binging

My thoughts exactly. Rolling more than once every couple of weeks for an extended period of time is asking for trouble.

Johnny- If you are serious about recovering from this, you will need to cut down on your usage for a while. Take a break! I promise you won't regret it!
 
Did you your self test the pills and were they all the same?

The head aches may possibly be from dehydration, lack of nutrients, or lack of sleep. I'd try cutting back smoking if you do, seeing as this is a major cause of dehydration. You can still use what ever you are smoking just try not to smoke it. i.e. eat edibles or chew some nicotine gum. Also alcohol dehydrates you, so be aware of how much dehydrating activities take part in!

I have expierenced everything you have mentioned. I went on a 3 week binge and paid the price. After the 2-3rd day I stopped I expierenced the crash.

Your headaches and cold sweats will get better in the coming weeks. You need to take anti oxidents and drink plenty of water to help clean all the neurotoxicity. Your serotonin level is low and your body is having trouble managing your temperature, sleep and appatite.

Taking 100-200 mg during the evening will help restore your serotonin but do not take for more than 5days or your body will start depending on it. Green tea extract is a excellent antioxident and helps with the transport of 5htp through the blood brain barrier (correct me if I'm wrong) I take it with the 5htp.

I believe thoes dreams and brain shocks(brain zaps) your having are realated. The zaps are a form of withdrawls, its a chemical imbalance caused by your brain going in overdrive to produce chemicals you drained during your binge. I found that when I would be going to sleep that's when I would expierence the zaps at its worst and get the dreams. Mines lasted for about a week (each person is different some will have it longer) and let me say thoes were the most vivid, and scariest dreams I ever had. Some nights I thought it was so real ill ask my room mates if they heard me screaming there names for help. And thoes zaps can be painful, I found smoking weed increased the zaps, so I don't reccomend smoking until the zaps are gone.

You will feel like your getting worse befor you feel better imo. My emotions drove me crazy, I cried for the first three days and gave up on everything for the moment. After about 6-7days I began to start to feel better and have a positive outlook on life. It took a month or so for my emotional rollercoaster ride too end. I learned a new repect for MDMA and understood its not something to abuse or you pay the price.

My advice to you is be strong and know that each day you will feel better. Your body and brain have taken a toll from the abuse and need all your help to get better. Eat healty and drink plenty of water, get your vitamins and antioxidents, and exercise. Keep your self busy esp if your feeling down or depressed.

The most IMPORTANT thing is to take a nice long break! No less than two months. 6months sounds better. I wish you the best of luck and hope your able to get through this.

If it was pure MDMA then just this should be fine if you follow what happyland says. You should arive in happy land (having controlable emotions/not being a zombie) some where between 3-9 months after your last use.

It's gonna suck and your gonna want to roll again every time you hear bass but just remember that every time you roll it resets the time untill your fully ballanced again and adds a bit more time. Surround your self with positive reinforcement and maybe avoid the party scene, other drugs and triggers that may cause a relapse.

However working out, sex in particular, is a wonderfull(and legal) way to get a rejuvinating burst of seratonin(?). Just know that compared to the full-body-gasm of 10 pills or X n sex, an plain old orgasm kind of sucks and it's just going to take a while to get used to that.

Unfortunantly, from the symptoms you seem to be experiencing, you might not have been doing pure MDMA. If this is true you might need a bit more to help get you back on your feet. Any other chemicals you might have ingested durring this binge, or adulterants the pills might have been pressed with could be a possible explination for this.

The headache, cold sweats, and narcoleptic-like day tiredness sound eirely reminiscent of a mephedrone binge/come down. I'm not saying that what you did wasn't MDMA, I am just questioning the content of said pills and questioning if you have questioned the contents your self. Just because your mate told you they were pure doesn't count.

So to this I have a few questions that may rule this and other possible variables out.
Were you taking the same pills the whole time?
Were they tested?
What ROA did you use(how did you consume them)?
How long did it take to start to feel them?
When was the peak, how long was it, and was it a plateau or steady up then down?
& How long has your binge lasted?

The more information you give the better advice we can give. I wish you luck on your recovery.
 
odly i find that 5 htp gives me head aches. i know its supposed to stop the damage or what ever but when ever i take it, it just feels like my brain is slowly deteriating
 
Take a break my freind.
Coffee might help the head aches, espresso not instant. Eat potassium rich foods. And drink some alcohol to bring down your anxiety.
You clearly have an abuse problem. So I would suggest reading your high better. Dont consume when your already really high. Mostly cause its a waste of $$$ without much effect. But with much side-effect.
Speak to someone that will help you, someone whom ISN'T a user.
I hope you get better, MDMA wont work properly after a while. So treat it with love. Cause it loves you, and so do all of us WE.

Take it towards the end of your trip and every day at 100mg daily for a week after. Be careful, as taking it about the end of the trip can trigger another bout of Ecstasy just when you thought you were done...

Also, r-ala, an extremely potent and universal antioxidant, also available in any respectable health food store, will protect the brain very effectively against ecstasy use related damage, which is oxidative in nature. Again a word of caution, r-ala has glucose disposal properties, which means it will likely lower your blood glucose. But if you are like me, you enjoy eating candy (jujubes! gummy bears!) when rolling, and then the hypoglycemic nature of r-ala actually plays in favor of eating candy and vice-versa. It is a very worthwhile step to protect your grey matter. One day, it may matter.

i found taking it befor i go to bed works the best for me. i wake feeling better compared if i took them earlier in the day. i found out taking it with Green Tea Extract helps with the transportation of 5htp through the blood brain barrier, its also a powerful antioxident too. oh yeah and dont take it for more than a week

ive tried it twice as i was coming down..i cant say it mad me "roll" again but i did feel waves euphoria come in, i dont know if it was the 5htp that caused thoes waves..could of be the roll its self

I think it's a combo of both. Your roll is ending more likely because your brain is getting short on serotonin than because it is getting low on MDMA. If so, then taking the 5-htp will make you come back up again somewhat. Of course if you time it even better it can IMO make your +++ experience last a few hours longer... :)

But once you are coming down it is always VERY hard to get back up there to nirvana. Still, even then, take the 5-htp and it makes the coming down that much nicer and gentler. :)
