i've been getting a lot of headaches and cold sweats after i wake up. sometimes through out the day i feel very tired to the point i want to sleep. i always eat food like it'll never stop. i read online that lack of serotonin can be solved by taking 5htp, i've taken 50 or 100mg 5htp with a meal at dinner time. what happens is i have crazy lucid dreams one after another. the recycle begins again with headache and cold sweats. i don't know what to do anymore. i've STOPPED taking mdma for two days now and the headache seem to get worse. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU'VE EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING AFTER BINGE!

You need to take a long break. Keep supplementing with 5-HTP... 100mg - 200mg a day.
Take AT LEAST a few months off, preferably 6months to a Year.
I know it may not be what you want to hear but it's the solution.

Yeah, a two day break isn't long enough. I've noticed the "hangover" gets worse 2-3 days after use and after that it starts getting better. After 7 days I'm totally back to normal. 5-htp helps a lot but it will give you crazy dreams.

You should take a lot longer break, like Synthettek said. If you've been abusing mdma as much as it sounds like you have, you need to abstain for quite a long time, up to a year or more.

if you think 2 days is a break im scared to ask how hard you were binging

does anyone know how to get rid of the headaches? it's day 3 i've been eating a lot of food today :| i'm starting to have headaches that kind of stress me out. having a thought can bring shocking sensation in my brain :(

Give it a week to get over the acute effects - maybe a month or slightly longer for a total recovery - that's just me talking from back in the day when I would binge and abuse.

Johnny whats your useage pattern been?

How many pills at a time and for how many days before you stopped? Whats been your useage for say the last month?

I have expierenced everything you have mentioned. I went on a 3 week binge and paid the price. After the 2-3rd day I stopped I expierenced the crash.

Your headaches and cold sweats will get better in the coming weeks. You need to take anti oxidents and drink plenty of water to help clean all the neurotoxicity. Your serotonin level is low and your body is having trouble managing your temperature, sleep and appatite.

Taking 100-200 mg during the evening will help restore your serotonin but do not take for more than 5days or your body will start depending on it. Green tea extract is a excellent antioxident and helps with the transport of 5htp through the blood brain barrier (correct me if I'm wrong) I take it with the 5htp.

I believe thoes dreams and brain shocks(brain zaps) your having are realated. The zaps are a form of withdrawls, its a chemical imbalance caused by your brain going in overdrive to produce chemicals you drained during your binge. I found that when I would be going to sleep that's when I would expierence the zaps at its worst and get the dreams. Mines lasted for about a week (each person is different some will have it longer) and let me say thoes were the most vivid, and scariest dreams I ever had. Some nights I thought it was so real ill ask my room mates if they heard me screaming there names for help. And thoes zaps can be painful, I found smoking weed increased the zaps, so I don't reccomend smoking until the zaps are gone.

You will feel like your getting worse befor you feel better imo. My emotions drove me crazy, I cried for the first three days and gave up on everything for the moment. After about 6-7days I began to start to feel better and have a positive outlook on life. It took a month or so for my emotional rollercoaster ride too end. I learned a new repect for MDMA and understood its not something to abuse or you pay the price.

My advice to you is be strong and know that each day you will feel better. Your body and brain have taken a toll from the abuse and need all your help to get better. Eat healty and drink plenty of water, get your vitamins and antioxidents, and exercise. Keep your self busy esp if your feeling down or depressed.

The most IMPORTANT thing is to take a nice long break! No less than two months. 6months sounds better. I wish you the best of luck and hope your able to get through this.

Ecstasy abuse will do that.

My guess is it'll be a week or two before you feel back to 'normal'. I'd highly suggest keeping clear of Ecstasy for at least 6 months.

thank you! that's the answer i'm looking for and experienced.

All the supplements, IMO, are useless, but im no doctor.

When I was in that "hole" where it seemed desperate because of mdma abuse, all I could do is :

-Eat well
-Do exercise (I did running 30 minutes a day, which greatly helped)
-Let your brain recover with time.

This is all you can do. Now you have understood why drugs are illegal. I always tought "why is mdma illegal, its so awesome!" I had my answer when it fucked up with me. But now moderation is the key ;)

Sooooooooooo You were looking for a specific answer??

What to reinforce your own beliefs?

lol. Why bother.

he described exactly what happened when i binge daily and what to do/combat. as for my dosage i'd like not to say it :p

Fair enough but its very hard to provide assistance with only half the story.

Of course irrelevant of your useage abstinence and good food sleep and exercise will always help.

You are online. Anonymous. Sharing what you have done in all its details is what helps OTHERS understand and get more information. Looks like YOU just want to help YOURSELF and prevent other people from learning from YOUR experience. Imagine if everyone on these forums were like you? :!

i KNOW that sensation ohhh too well. not really anything you can do about that. it seems like you are coming off quite a binge though. hopefully you will remember this experience in the future and take it easy on the e! i don't have any advice really except to rest up and don't take any more stimulants for a while.

oh, what i always tell myself when i'm having a shitty comedown (off of anything) is this... i'm the one that decided to get so fucked up, so i have to suck it up and just deal with it. that's just the way it goes sometimes.... hope ya feel better soon bro
