I will start this thread by talking about my personal experience with drugs. Both REPORT of experience & and kind of insight/thought I might want to add to it. And then as more posts are posted, members may be able to discuss with each other about different aspects of their experiences.

ALCOHOL
It's got an upside. I think that's why it's retained so much popularity through the years despite campaigns against it very similar to those which the other drugs have faced and been (somewhat) defeated by.
It's got an ugly downside. What drug doesn't except maybe MJ?
I give it a lot of credit except for hangovers and alcoholism.
Always love letting myself slip into a relaxing alcoholic daze.

MARIJUANA
What a great high. I guess the biggest problem is just...life. When there's a war raging on around you it's not good enough to smoke the MJ and say "Peace". War will dominate peace. It's true that 2 people aren't going to get into a fight while they are under the influence. It's also true that they aren't going to do much of anything...except maybe eat and "groove".

COCAINE
This drug disappoints me. I really don't need to never did need to be 'cocained'. It speeds me up (which I was always good at just keeping in time) and then leaves me a nervous wreck when I'm left with nothing on my mind but more cocaine basically unless I got plenty of calming benzos and/or pain-kill in the system to go with it. I don't know. Just not for me. Don't need the speed.

HEROIN/HORSE
First time I did it I was blown away. I still have never IV'd it but just snorting it is pretty incredible. It's my dream. To be at peace like that. Have my peace of mind. Of course, it can get ugly if you over-do it...but as long as you remember not to over-do it, do it. What is over-doing it? Making a hobby out of it. It should be like a holiday type thing. HEROIN HOLIDAY! Have 5-8 of them a year. Spread them out.

MUSHROOMS/PSILOCYBIN
The first time I did these I did way more than the people around me suggested I do. I had no fear. What could some mushrooms do to me? Come on! Well, I ended up in heaven. Heaven on earth. Everything was so perfect. Sort of similar to heroin in that way. Although people seem to report this PERFECT feeling with mushrooms more often than they do with heroin. Heroin just happens to agree with my mind that well that it is the same kind of perfect. I think it has something to do with not being pretty. But anyway, back to mushrooms, I've done 'em 3 times and they've been perfect everytime. I'm not sure if problems arise with them if you do them for 180 days out of 360 for 4 years in a row or not. Maybe someone could tell me? Well, you know, maybe not quite that much but are there any addiction issues with psilocybin? Does it get ugly like it can get with heroin? Because I'm telling you, I LOVE THIS DRUG!

BENZODIAZEPINES

Well, let's go through the 3 most popular ones in my neck of the woods.

Clonazepam - 8.0/10.0
Alprazolam - 6.33/10.0
Diazepam - 5.5/10.0

I'm a pretty harsh judge so my 5.5 for Valium means I like it better than AVERAGE, which would be 5.0. (Anything below 5.0 would be a negative rating.) I like diazepam/valium. I like the benzos in general. They have been good for me in chilling me out. The Anti-Depressant class of meds (Prozac, Zoloft, Welbutrin etc.) just don't seem to do enough for me as far as lifting my mood and moderating my anxiety. I think my anxiety and moodiness can be pretty severe and I give alot of credit to benzos for being able to control some of the "nerves" and I really don't have much else to say about them besides that. They really can just......."calm the nerves." And I've heard some pretty bad things about them addiction-wise so I have tried not to get too mixed up in them...just use them as needed.

I probably forgot some drugs HA HA HA but that's what happens when you use them.
