went to hot yoga last night. Gym today and maybe gym again tomorrow depends on how I feel after tonight's workout.

Went to hot yoga last night. Tonight will be spinning class. Tomorrow will be spinning class then hot yoga.

so excited today!! I know I went to spin class light night but today will be super amazing because I don't need to rush to go to the class since I am off work!!

Finally making myself run. Just started this week. Working up very slowly. But it feels great compared to only using the elliptical or just waking. Right now if running on a non lifting day, I take the puppy out on a 3 mile run where we alternate between waking one block and running the next. At the gym after I workout I'll walk 2 minutes on the treadmill and then run for 2 to 4 minutes for a total of 30 minutes.

I've been avoiding running because I smoked cigarettes for so long and because even though I do strength training on my legs, they are not strong in an endurance capacity. Well fuck it, I'm not going to shed significant fat unless I run on a regular basis. Plus that runner's high is nice!

I can already see a difference just running one week. Today, as I'm off work, I'm going take the puppy to the dog park after the gym and get my run on there.

^yeah I though I'd never be able to run like others cause I was also a chain smoker before, but I am glad I quit and now I enjoy cardio more than the other exercises. I am actually going to spinning class tomorrow and then meet my cousin at the gym and do some more exercises.

Slowly I'm making progress with my running. I'm forcing myself to run longer blocks. I'll be so happy once I'm laying down miles without stopping to walk.

Full body yesterday including sumo dead lifts, military presses and lat pull downs. Did the run walk/run thing 3.x miles today.

Walked 2.5 miles on path around a local reservoir. Beautiful day. It really helps to be outside and moving as I begin to taper off of oxy's - takes my mind off waiting to dose.

^awesome man

Went to the gym today. Tomorrow will be spin class, wed gym, thurs hot yoga and fri gym or spin class. Gonna try to relax on the weekend but I can't promise!!

Could not make it again today. Tomorrow is a certainty.. eight days off.. im going to a little hurting tomorrow.. but you never know sometimes when i have done this I ended up feeling really strong. Really need to burn off some stress. I think on days I don't work out I eat a third of what I usually do.

Yesterday, Monday, did another amazing walk... a solid hour, with a walking buddy who is very fit and set a great pace. Only problem... woke up last night w very sore knees, so messed up my taper plan and dosed early.

Sometimes we gotta do less in order to do more. Getting back into shape and exercising in my mid-40's, I have to force myself to hold back and go slower than I want to so I don't hurt or injure myself; injurying myself would really suck as exercising has become my drug.

P0kemama just don't stop the taper or the walking and you'll stay on the right path.

Me: full body weight program (squats, barbell bench press, barbell rows, barbell curls and front shoulder raises) and 30 minutes running and waking on the treadmill. Also took the puppy out to the dog park for an hour this afternoon. Lord, I'm feeling really good today!!!!

Tuesday, exercised while babysitting. Did sit ups, tricep kickbacks and bicep curls. Today, Wednesday, mowed the lawn for the first time this spring. Took me almost an hour so I definitely will "count" it as exercise.

So i went to the gym today with coworker and did a set of nike sesh. We did a diff type of cardio approach since she has bad knees. We inclined the treadmill to 15 and walked on speed 3.5. Wow i was gaspingy breath since it was actually tough. Did a lil bit of sauna after then tomorroe will be hot yoga.
