I am newly transferred to Medicare, and I can no longer afford my Exalgo prescription. I have been taking it successfully with oxycodone for a couple of years; Exalgo also fills in the gap when I finish my oxy prescription before the month is up, so I don't get "sick."
What time-release drug would be compatible with the oxy, but is priced more cheaply?

Firstly, we can't discuss prices at all here I am afraid. Secondly, even if we did, it would be a regional thing, and we don't cover that either as we are an international forum.. but most importantly, we're not a medical forum staffed by doctors. Even if we were, online medical advice is dodgy at best and dangerous at worst. I'm very sorry for your situation but I think your only option is to speak to your doctor and tell them what you told us. They will know what ER preps are available and would work with oxycodone as well as suit your individual needs, and they would also know the prices of the prescriptions.
