Just saw an ad for this. wireless remote controlled toy sized helicopter containing a mini video camera. It would probably be reall fun to mess with tripping, I bet you could see some otherwise unviewable shit

But dont the makers of this realize how many kids (and voyeuristic adults) are going to use this to violate peoples' privacy, hover it outside peoples bedroom windows to tape them having sex, or getting out of the shower etc?

They even vaguely hint at and promote it for this, last segment of ad it flies over someones yard fence and sneaks up on a couple making out, then it talks about how it comes with software letting you upload the video to the web!!! I think its disgusting and outrageous... jaw was on the floor.

I bet it will also be used by asshole anti drug buttheads to gather video of neighbor hippie types or whoever they dont like smoking weed thru windows or in their own yards that they will then anonymously upload to pigs.

I better get one before its banned by the FCC or something!

I like the casual observation that a large percentage of people who read bluelight might be somehow defective. Would the the question "Do you maintain an account with bluelight or reading this message boards regularly?" be a valid item in a questionaire geared towards uncovering mental illness? ^That's a bit silly. Bluelight is a massive site attracting all sorts of persuasions, the majority of whom are not members, and so we have no idea what kind of people they are. We can be pretty sure though, that most of them are involved with drugs, that many are in various stages of addiction and desperation and drug induced psychosis, or are drug dealers, and that quite a few, members included, are ego maniacal. To suggest that my intent was to imply that being a member is a valid test of mental instability is hyperbolic in the extreme, and to entertain the idea that this thread and a discussion of how to use this mini reconnaissance predator drone as a tool of criminal enterprise is harmless is nonsense.

It's a far cry from saying it's possible to get an STD and go around sipping peoples drink to discussing how exactly you could do without getting caught and the exactly the means and tools that one could go about it with. You ever been to a club full of rolling people? I always get offered sips here from peoples bottles and drinks which is gross either way, no thank you. It wouldn't be hard to spread that while being aware, that was not a very relevant analogy to the kind of fear people have about randoms though, (sometimes warranted, hard to pinpoint) just slid off the top of my head.
