Evidence of pharmaceutical industry lobbying and dirty tricks

There are separate threads regarding pharmaceutical industry lobbying against medicinal cannabis, kickbacks supporting overprescribing drugs, inventing 'conditions' to create the need for new medication and PR/dirty tricks campaigns to increase profits etc
I want to start a thread to collate examples of industry dirty tricks and tactics, with the aim of creating a dB of pharmaceutical malfeasance and nefarious practice.
Please post here all examples of industry lobbying, misleading marketing and downright immoral profiteering.

No, you don't sound like a prick at all... this is a very sensible suggestion.
You'll have to forgive me: I'm not familiar with this site yet and wasn't aware of how articles fit with threads.
And yes, I have experience of authoring similar studies on the tobacco and alcohol industry, so the challenge of writing an article appeals to me.
