Everyone looks familiar when tripping

Has anyone else experienced a phenomenon in which they are tripping in a sizable crowd and almost everybody reminds you of somebody you once knew? It's almost like deja vu w/ people. You can't remember exactly where you've seen them or how you've met them but are almost positive you have. Ironically, at the same time you are telling yourself "It has to be these chemicals. There is no way I've met these same xx,000 people before, lol."
 
maybe u did but over the course of your whole life time seen each and everyone of those people there at different points of life and only when tripping does something click and you now remember them.. Or u jus high as hell my friend
 
Haha I had an experience like this the first time I did mushrooms.

I was walking home and got a bit disoriented. I stopped at a corner to ask a girl for directions, and when she turned to look at me her face had changed to look EXACTLY like an old girlfriend of mine, but with bright red hair and bright green eyes. Like the most real thing I'd ever seen. I stood there with my mouth open and slowly backed away, lol.

I've experienced more what you're talking about on MDMA a couple times...just like everyone out of the corner of my eye looks like someone I know until I turn to look at them.
 
on Meph at night fi were out and about, me and my mates always coment that it looks like everyone in the streets is taking it in the sense that they are gurning and stuff even though its just us and chemical playing tricks? anyone else had this before?

though it coudl be that just most people in Blackpool are tkaing it :p
 
I thought I was talking to my best friend but it was some guy I had never seen before haha
 
I get this feeling when I've been seeing maddening synchronicities all day and I get delusional... You most likely know them from other lives or your telepathic ability is on the fritz and your getting all the spirits energetic info immediatly and it seems as if you know them...
 
Ive never had this, though I wouldnt be surprised if some did. For me, while tripping in a crowd, they all seem to look at me in a distracted way, as in not really getting why i am happy, but then again not being bothered by it :)

But I sometimes get that "hey this guy looks like someone I know"-days, when for a whole day people seem to resemble others. But then again in my job I see a lot of faces
 
i get similar effects all day every day now which came on after my years of fun. i think i recognise lots of face when i have never met them but ppl i should know i have often forgot. it all gets very confusing.

ive experienced this before

also on high doses on meph at raves everyone starts to look very similar, it can get a bit confusing and trippy
 
I experienced this with 2c-I at an amusement park. Everyone seemed to be strange caricatures of, well, humans in general. And all of them I swear I had known in high school or college at some point. Very odd.

yes! I experienced this on a good bit of mephedrone not long ago. it was fucking bizarre! not somethig i expected from the drug in question.
 
First time I got high, I was in such a headfog that I mistook some random guy for my roomate.

I've never really gotten this while tripping, however, I'll get it sober. Like at work, I'll see someone who looks like someone else I know but then I hear their voice or take a closer look to discover that I'm not even close.
 
i've noticed a similar, but slightly different thing with various amphetamines, m1, mephedrone, etc. I think a random person actually is someone i know and not realize til i walk up to them or wave, nod etc. Very odd.

on cubensis shrooms a couple of times peoples heads turned into bird heads with feathers instead of skin like those medeival pictures. (didn't think i had met them before apart from my GF who became a peacick)

On AMT the other night i went for a bike ride in the park and all the early morning joggers faces looked distorted in exactly the same way - like pin-heads
