cant give up yet, anything can happen. i dont even know dave at all, but my thoughts and hope are with him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave and his family. May God grace him with the strength to pull through.

i'm sad to hear this happened to him. no one or their family or friends should have to go through something like this. sadly enough, it happens too often. if he pulls through, i hope he will take this as a lesson learned and a second chance at life to get things together and give up drugs. it's also shows us that we are not invencible. this could happen to anyone. be careful everyone.

my deepest prayers tonite, I promise.
Much Peace and Love to ya all, your all******************************'s

I lost a dear friend just about a month ago- he was on life support for weeks. It was obvios he was gone before they even got him on the ventilator... someone said, "hey even if he has brain damage" think about that statement. There's something to be said for dying with dignity. They took him off life support and the poor son of a bitch refused to give up for almost two weeks. We had to sit there and watch him whither away, but he was already gone... Phreex is gone- doens't matter whether his chest moves with each breath of the ventilator- he as a person is gone. It's time to start grieving- and it's a process that never ends. I feel for his friends, his family- and him. I'm detoxing right now because I don't want to die from heroin- but I'm also probably scoring tonight because I just can't take it... It's the inevitable end unless you chose otherwise.
Use smart- I judge no one that chooses to use. I for one want not to use. But I will probably use tonight. Educate yourselves. Realize that you too may one day overdose- have a plan. Have someone with you that knows what to do.
And to those most close to him- my deepest sympathies- grieve- it's okay. The person you see in that bed with all those tubes- that's not Phreex... Phreex is gone. Grieve.

Does it matter? Junkies- long time- life long junkies can have spontaneous deaths due to shots much smaller than their daily intake. Educate... don't think just because your dose is small that you can't too OD.

Dave, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. This is a terrible thing to have happen. So many taken, hopefully he won't be one of them.
