news from the ongoing silk road trial, where one of the site's dealers was called to the stand and it's revealed he kept a written record of all sales.

Even though it was explicitly against the rules to keep customer addresses, Duch kept them all. Every deal he'd done was recorded on a massive spreadsheet that the government acquired when it arrested him. Once he agreed to cooperate with the authorities, he was able to detail his business down to the last deal. He'd taken 2,414 orders, for a total of 31,827 bags—more than three kilos of heroin.

This was from one single vendor though, every needs to realise that a lot of vendors do store and keep addresses, its easier for them and they can pick up on repeat customers etc. I think they also think they may have some sort of bargaining tool if they do indeed get caught, usually though it just gives the prosecution a more detailed look on exactly how much drugs they sold and it works against them.

You can use all the encryption in the world, but at some point its going to be un-encrypted at the other end and left in a .txt file or put onto an envelope.

yea i mean its def not a good thing.. but i dont see how they could actually charge the buyer with a crime... they would have to proove beyond a shadow of a doubt that what you recieved was something illegal and how would they go thru and charge 100 ppl? the courts are already so backed up it wouldnt be worth teir time and a hard case to make

It was a single vendor but this was something that could not have worked for a longer period. What did they expect? I believe posting things are risky and it does not last. I would never give my data to this sorta of service. It would have been risky and you would be on their logs. So when shit like this happens how do people, actually buyers might be thinking now.

I also agree that every code will be un-encrypted

Right, but keeping logs was explicitly against Silk Road rules so buyers did have some reason to believe that this sort of thing wasn't happening. Silk Road was supposed to be this great bastion of trustworthiness and now it's clear that even people who are employed in a profession that is supposed to be safeguarding that trust are untrustworthy. It's richly ironic.

Hah yea if you can't trust a heroin dealer then who can you trust lol

I've come close to ordering off of sr but between the prices and the whole bitcoin thing I just always stuck with my email connects I've gathered over the years. And that was only when I couldn't find what I was looking for locally...things like K and dort cheap benzos...I know no prices but its insane what alprazolam goes for around here.

Yeah it was nifty while she lasteD not that it isn't still going on.
there's More sites and dealers only concern is the feds un encrypting tor.

This is one dealer who went against the rules, they gonna come knocking on 2,000 doors lol.

Trust and drugs are two things that just dont mix and if you do mix them, eventually your going to get burned.

Also, you gotta think. Who are the cops going to go after. Not some list of nobodies who have bought some little bags here and there. Waste of time and money. THey want bigger people. I would bet that they dont give two shits about who is on that list but rather just using it as leverage for a gulity verdict.

Dont buy drugs online, your just playing with fire. So much bullshit and such a waste of so many things simply because these drugs are illegal.

We really screwed up this experiment called earth. A big fuckin asteroid needs to pay us a visit and take us out, without any warning either, so this place can just start over.

It is still "going on".

It has been re started months ago.

The issue in the US is IF your on that vendor list you will be arrested, and charged under RICO.

"Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, commonly referred to as theRICO Act or simply RICO, is a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization."

They have made it plain, and clear in order to dissuade people in the US from using the service.
Big Brother has gigantic stones.

I see your point and the thought puckers my ass a lil but I don't see them going after anything but the people supplying real quantities of shit.

Like the guy giving deezletime his kilos to move.

Even with what your saying there going to swat suit up and hit me with the Rico act?
For??
They have no proof of anything and if they did we'd be hearing about the arrests of custos and not just suppliers. And not just one supplier, this guy's obviously slipped up and I'd bet it has more to do with where he got his dope then any tor related services.

F.y.i. all us bl nikkas know the Rico act lol

No one is catching a RICO charge from having their name logged by a dealer who is cooperating. Generally speaking they have to bust you with the drugs, or use your order to get a search warrant and hope you have something in your house. It's possible that you would get hassled over a past order but so unlikely as to be not worth worrying about, especially if you're not dealing (and if you are you have more pressing concerns like your local PD or DEA), and even if they did catch up with you the charges are not going to stick.

To answer this post, and the one under it...
You fellas/gals are making an assumption based on something you have heard repeated countless times based on nothing.
The simple "fact" that your name is on a list of buyers owned by a (yet to be) convicted drug trafficker, qualifies you (once he is convicted) for prosecution under RICO.

It is an on going case. once his case is settled, and he pleads... The new indictments will be issued.

Don't assume the fella/gal that ordered 1/2 gram of dope is less a criminal than the people that bought 10,000 tabs of whatever. A crime is a crime, and "they" are going to set examples.
That is the only tool they have to fight on line ordering.

Google any aspect of what I said. It''s all there. Don't fool yourself.

You did not read my post... RICO!!! "They" do not have to catch you with anything! RICO!

Of course that person is "less of a criminal". That's why they prosecute drug cases based on amount of product...
