Ever "snap out" of a nod with a BANG?

yeah, my friend had this same problem. we didnt know what exactly caused it until we both shot up in his room one time and he was sitting at his computer in his chair, and he would start nodding. He would be fine, coming in and out of it just normally and relaxed...until his body shifted and started slowly creepin and slouchin to one side when he started nodding. when he would shift to a certain point (to the point of nearly falling over) he would then come out of his nod and SNAP like you said and it was because even though he wasnt aware of it, he was coming out of his nod just as he was about to fall over in his nod.

this is probably happening to you. what you should do is be more careful how you situate your body when you nod. if yo uare just sittin there, you might be nodding nad leaning forward, snapping to catch yourself from slamming your head open.

i suggest laying back, or laying in a comfy chair but control yourself to a certain point, or rest your head against something.

Interesting this has been revived.

Something tells me that this is due to the convulsant activity of opioids. A little benzo or some other anticonvulsant should solve this problem, although even a bit too much will turn a nod into a nap.

I think know what you're talking about. Many times when I nod, I only "wake up" after a sudden feeling like I'm falling back.
i get that feeling some times when im about to fall asleep. im laying down and out of no were i feel like im falling and i get an adrenaline rush but it only lasts a second, i know a girl that it happens to also.

yes i know, that feeling sucks.I get it when im just falling asleep (the falling off the cliff feeling.)Not to get off the subject but i have to ask, Has anyone ever had that feeling in their dream and hit the ground in the dream.I have lol

Yeah, I definitely get that, especially the part where you feel like something bad is happening ... it's just a shock to "come to" and have different shit going on than when you nodded out in the first place.

When i get in the later stages of it i nod a little (iunno bout yall, but when i do it, i get high right away and all but it starts hittin real hard later on about a hour into shit.)

Yeah, I get that usually right after pretty much (IV). I usually 'suddenly snap out of it" eventually if my wife isn't harrassing me. 'wake up''wakeup' yadda yadda all night. Gets to be a drag after a while but I'm grateful that she has stuck with me this time round the bend. if it wasn't for her I would be dead now. No doubt.

One time I was downsairs in my 'shooting gallery' , had just done a shot, and had been down there long enough that she came looking. I was blue in the chair . She flipped the fuck out and started slapping me, yelling at me , and pouring cold water on me. She brought me back. And when I came to I was bitching 'what did you do that for? I'm OK.'. Not realizing until later when we talked the significance of that struck me right then.

Anyhow...be carefull is all I'm saying. Find out who your real friends are and stick with them.

yea someone who would or wouldnt wake u up from your nod is the difference between life n death Just ask my good friend clubbinguido about that lol. Im glad to see this thread back and yea, it still happens to me...LOL one time i was sittin on a rock after shootin up and I kept noddin while i was sitting up , i really COULD have fell off the rock if i nodded to the side so that was surreal that i had the feeling, told my self "na its only that nod feelin' only to wake up and see that yea, i actually WAS about to fall off a (well, 4 foot high lol) cliff
