Yes, I lost my best friend and love of my life just the other week. April 18th, 2011 he died of a heroin overdose at the young age of nineteen. I've know him since I was twelve and been in love with him since. I still am and will always be. I wrote enough about him in other sections but yeah my heart still aches and a piece of me died the day I found out he passed. I still talk to him every night and last night when I went to bed I talked to him for an hour... He'll always be with me and we were suppose to go to prom together which was last night but I knew he was there with me. I'm sorry about your lost and I know how hard it is but we will get through this.

Well recently my best freind from primary school came back into my life and my best freind of recent has been seeing a girl for about 8 months and has basically forgotten about me. I say its his loss because I'm gaining an old freind who I actually prefer and some more freinds who are his mates. By recent I mean about 18 months. Once his relationship with his gf goes down the tubes, if it does, he's left with noone because he basically never goes out with males anymore. If he tries to come back to me I will happily tell him to fuck off

I would say talk to him.
The worst thing that could happen is he confirms your fears and he doesn't care anymore....yeah, it would suck but if he is your best friend and you don't try, you will always wonder. And for myself, it is better to know the truth and be hurt. AND maybe he will tell you he felt YOU were ditching him, who knows!! So, try talking to him in a non confrontational way.......
