Can yoou really see two eyes
When there all glazed over
Canyou really love a person
without seeing them
If you could take one thought from a persons head
Would it be of loves and losses
or just their special place
that place where they're deep in thought
with no feelings of pain, hurt or anger
Just the things that keeps them going
Wouldn't it be nice
when your in your place
never to leave and face your shit again
you could do what ever your mind would allow
maybe nothing at all
All you have to do is shut your eyes tight
Do not think and do not speak
Let yourself float and fly away
This is how I started my everlonging journey
Drifting in and out of my fantasy
each time wouldbe for longer
grudging my return
Its not that I don't like this world
that we live in
I only want to see the things
that I have no more
to see and touch and smell them
taht is bliss to me
With no one there to stop me
from feeling what I want
I can sit and talk to my brother
even though he has been gone a long time
I can asked him all the questions I never aked him in life
I can hear the soothing sound
of waves on white shores
I can smell an orchid garden
in mid december
I can feel a running stream
flowing through my toes
all while lying in my bed
Wouldn't you like to feel at peace
sitting on a floor
wouldn't you like to escape
if only for a while
all you have to do is shut your eyes tight
do not think and do not speak
Let yourself float and fly away.
