Evaporating liquid from GHB?

I want to evaporate some liquid from my GHB powder. Do I boil some 2L away slowly untill GHB forms at the end? (medium meat slow cooking time say 20 mins)

The reason I ask is because I let my GHB out and it reacted with the moisture from the air. Now it's chunky - does this affect dosing? I would think water adds to the weight making it inaccurate for measurement.

sodium GHB is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs water from the air... getting it dry again will be a real pain in the ass. if you boil water off of it you can expect rocky clumps.

a better solution is dissolving it in a known amount of water, assuming you know how much you started with.

mine also got very wet from being in a bag for a while. Any clue how to remove it?

aside from heating it in the oven at e.g. 110 C, there's no easy way.

Chuck some silica gel packets into it?

I just made a liquid solution of my chunky GHB powder. It's the only way to go.
