I do CWE wit 30/500 codeine 500 mg paracetamol and always evaporate the liquid to see the amount of codeine I am left with. I know some binder and some APAP gets through but I am a little paranoid about just drinking the liquid. The problem is it just welds itself to the plate that I evaporate it on and end up having to scrape it off the plate with a stanley blade and I can never get all the powder off the plate. Any one got any suggestions on how to combat this. I currently have one on the go that I have poured the liquid onto some greaseproof paper and it is sat on top of the boiler which is warm enough to evaporate it slowly 2 days in this weather over night in the winter when the heating is on

Look for the solubility of both compounds at different temperatures. That tells you the amount of water you need. APAP drops our (leaves a ring around surface as well) but you can be sure that although it will taste of APAP, you cannot recieve a dangerous dose. I still recommend going to a health-food shop & buying methionine tablets. 200mg for each 500mg APAP.
