Euthanasia
So this is it then. Everyone knows the finality of being sentenced to the last door all the way down the hall, on the left. No one living thing that ever walked through that door, was ever seen again. I heard my little sister wailing when the Judge passed sentence on one of many condemned----to take the lonely, dreaded walk,, stopping at the last door on the left, hand shaking, as the executioner proclaims, “Jason Kennedy Owing you have been found guilty of 3 counts of reckless endangerment, 40 counts of larceny, 22 counts of absconding, 13 counts of hit and run,, vehicular manslaughter, and evading peace officers, 432 counts of cyber crimes, identity thefts, manufacturing false passports, 3 counts of impersonating police officers, 824 counts of failure to appear in court in Cali, Nevada, Texas, Idaho, Maine, as well as all states within the USA, except Rhode Island, and one outstanding parking ticket by Justice Dana McKinnley Parker - (sound of gaval hitting desk) – Cook!
Let the record show for these heinous (sounding more like High Anus) crimes, you are hereby condemned to the Youth in Asia. Have you anything to say before sentence is pronounced? “But, I, I, I didn’t do ----- Oh Please! Not the Youth in Asia! Noooooo someone help-------“
“May God have mercy on your soul,” are the final words by the executioner and Jason Owing aka Jay Owing is screaming, trying to get away and make a break for it, but to no avail. Correctional officers, 6 of them restrain his arms, while another opens the door, then he is shoved in by 6 cops hard and fast as the 7th slams the door shut behind him, making escape impossible.
On the other side of the door comes a stampeding mob of angry, pissed off Asian youths ranging in ages 13-19. The scene is total bedlam, chaos, anarchy. They all have large size stones in their hands. Jay gets hit several times, manages to vanish from sight for a blessed few seconds, but his hopes of escape are thwarted as young, angry, youths in Asia by the thousands are stampeding him to death. The uprisings of unhappy Asian youths are ongoing to any creature walking through that door.
There are a few exceptions, where some people DO welcome walking through that door, but usually to escape real or perceived intolerable reality such as lingering illnesses, pain, and those that want to end the suffering for their beloved pets. Seeing the doctor or veterinarian shake is head in sympathy, explaining that the Youth in Asia is the humane option since all others have been exhausted. The youth in Asia will help them by giving them an end to their misery. Due to accusations of denigrating labels to Asian people, the last room on the left was renamed Euthanasia instead of the recent Youth in Asia. There have been homicidal youths of all ethnic backgrounds, not just Asian. One young man from Hong Kong retorted on Oprah Winfrey, “Why don’t we call it the Youth in America or Youth in Africa room then?” Since Americans objected, as did the Africans, the word was formally changed in spelling, although it sounds the same.
Whenever I hear the word Euthanasia, that’s the mental picture I get: a bunch of rioting pissed off, angry Asian youths about to mob whatever stands in their path.
