[NPS-t]

We are interested in individuals aged 18+ who have used designer drugs (a.k.a. NPS or research chems) in the past 12 months. The survey is aimed at inhabitants of Germany, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland & Portugal but others can also join our study. However, inhabitants of the six countries are the target group of our study. Therefore, the survey is available in English,German, Magyar, Dutch, Polski and Português. This survey will ask questions about the use of designer drugs (e.g. mephedrone, 6ABP, “Spice”, “bath salts”, MDPV, 2C-x,MXE)*. If you choose to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire about the use of NPS, motives for using NPS,the use of other drugs, adverse side effects and opinions regarding NPS policy.This study is strictly voluntary and anonymous, and should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. This online questionnaire is administered by Lime-survey at the University of Frankfurt.
The aim of our study is to find out more about the use of NPS from the perspective of the users. Apart from posting at internet forums we also are doing field work in the six different countries mentioned. Of course,the concept of NPS is a dynamic one and we tried to let our questionnaire reflect that specific characteristic.
Anonymity:We took extra care to ensure anonymity for as far as the Internet will allow. The survey is hosted in Germany because this is one of the countries in Europe with the strictest rules regarding privacy and the internet. Also, both our website and survey are hosted at https websites, aiming at greater anonymity. Of course, none of the information you provide us will be shared with third parties.

NPS-t project: IRISH, PORTUGUESE AND HUNGARIAN respondents wanted!

Before we have already posted on this forum about our study. In Ireland, Portugal and Hungary, it is extra hard finding respondents. So if you fit the following criteria, PLEEEEAAAse participate:

• 18+ years old
• used designer drugs (a.k.a. NPS or research chems, such as 4-FA, synthetic cannabis, 6-ABP, Spice, MXE....etc) in the past 12 months
• Living in Ireland, Portugal or Hungary

You will be asked to complete an online questionnaire about the use of NPS, motives for using NPS, use of other drugs, adverse side effects and opinions regarding NPS policy.This study is strictly voluntary and anonymous, and should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. In 2016, more than 3,000 people from six countries participated in a large survey on New Psychoactive Substances (NPS). In the Netherlands mainly stimulating NPS are used (e.g. 4-FA), while in Germany and Portugal more psychedelic NPS are used (e.g. 2C-B and NBOME's), and Hungary and Poland show high figures for 'herbal blends' (e.g. Spice) and synthetic cannabinoids (e.g. JHW-018).
