me too!

I'm thinking of starting a generic opiate/opioid withdrawal symptom thread. Somewhere to discuss coping techniques / medication etc.
There have been a few related threads over the years but, as far as I can see, there's no general thread.
Threads about using benzos, threads about codeine withdrawal, threads about Ibogaine, methadone taper, maintenance, recovery and treatment for opiates, and Lofexadine for Buprenorphine withdrawal.
The maintenance, recovery and treatment for opiates thread seems like the closest to what I'm thinking about, but there's a fair bit of tl;dr in it, and it's focus is not really on dealing with withdrawal symptoms. It's more about rehab, replacement therapy, stuff like that. I am thinking more of a thread dedicated to sharing ways of combating the withdrawal symptoms.
I'm being a bit self-interested here as I'm having my first unpleasant experience of opioid withdrawal, and it would be nice to have people's ideas and experiences all in one place. Also I've been littering other unrelated threads with my drivel on the matter.
But as my experience with opiates and opioids is not all that extensive, perhaps I'm being a bit naive and it makes more sense to have multiple threads on specific aspects of the topic.
So, people with more experience than me, please let me know what you think. If it's a good idea, I'll go ahead and start it. If it's not, I'll start a fresh AH7921 withdrawal thread. But I'd rather not do that as it seems like there is a fair amount of crossover of withdrawal symptoms between the various opiates and opioids, and therefore there will be common ways of coping and medicating, and it would make sense to have this information in one place.
when i had a habit and there was good gear about i would put .2/.3 in the pin but the gear now is the same quality more or less - cant get that killer stuff from the other day so got a g of the normal good one 9/10.
gonna try the shot tonight hope it all goes to plan
I need advice if anyone's got an idea -
One of the track marks in my wrist area (stupid, I know) has gotten quite infected and my whole wrist/forearm was swollen and it was bleeding much more than it should. Went to the ER, got anti-biotics so it should be fine, but now it's all bandaged up and well it's a really awkward place to have a bandage. I feel like people are gonna think I cut or something (which is better than them thinking I got it from IV'ing, but still). Any ideas of lies I could tell as for why I'd have a bandage in such an awkward place? Unfortunately it doesn't cover enough of my wrist to pretend it's broken or something![]()

Come on guise.
Srs thread is srs.![]()
you started it with bewb talk
sorry cornishman, I'll take that as an informal warning yeah?
![]()

I don't wanna sound patronizing.. And everyone's got their reasons, etc. But it's just tragic seeing someone like yourself. So young, beautiful and with so much potential indulging in a terrible scene.
As you would already know; there's not many nice people in the H scene (apart from us bluelighters and the odd exception, lol).
But pls take care and ditch those pins!
(Yeah I'm a hypocrite). But hey..
Still, you're in the best place and I really hope you can pull yourself away from the needle.
(Plus we can't have you losing your secksy bewbs coz you wasted away from teh heroin chic).
Take care.![]()

Hi Heroin folk,
I posted this in Gibberings, but I know you don't all gibber, so I'm posting it here too. I'd be most interested in your thoughts.
If you like, to avoid cluttering up your thread, you could post replies in Gibberings, or PM me.
