sorry again effie it was a honest mistake m8

No worries at all :) <3 it seems a little OTT I know but we've got to be really strict about that sort of thing.

Very true about the heating =/= sterilising thing. I'm sorry to hear about your vision, FUBAR :(

Micron filters are better than heating for catching bigger bugs (bacteria) - won't catch viruses though, no idea about fungal spores.. sterile sachets of citric/ascorbic are def the way forward, I wish they put less in them though, I know I trashed some veins by putting in too much when I used to pin. Found a good youtube vid that taught me how to do it properly, will try to dig it up.. (ha no pun intended)

Obviously it's safest is to get vials of sterile water to go with your sterile acid; wish more exchanges stocked it.. there's a post somewhere with the hierarchy of what's the safest water to use down to the least safe, will try to dig that up too.

Tomorrow, though. I've got some running to do first.

Cornish <3

No eye problems I'm aware of from using lemon juice (or vinegar - and yes, FUBAR, I also resorted to Sarson's malt one a coupla occasions. Very odd it was too - back of me throat tasted like I'd banged up a fish supper :D). I did, however, go down with suspected endocarditis after a few days of using Jif (timez waz tuff and lazy junky fuck I were couldn't be arsed traipsing round the Indian shops for citric (Boots went through a stage of not selling citric/vit c to known addicts were I lived for a while and was actually pretty hard to track either down elsewhere :\)). Don't really recall all the details cos was many years ago and during my heavy additional benzo use, but clearly I survived - doc said it was almost certainly down to infection from using lemon juice as it was the only real risk factor that applied to my situation. Tbh honest, I don't know for sure it was actually endocarditis in the end cos I didn't need hospitilisation and weeks of IV antibios. I did need weeks of oral antibios though and was no fun at all when I was really ill with whatever it actually was.

In a pinch, yeah you'll likely get away with no problems. Longterm you may well get away with no problems. But the whole point of HR is to reduce harm not pretend there is no possibility of harm when there clearly is. Luck and chance are not the same thing as actively reducing risk of serious illness or permanent damage. Nobody's saying that if you use lemon juice you will intsantly and automatically go blind or die from fungal and/or bacterial infections - just that such things are a known risk of doing so so it's best to find safer alternatives if at all possible.

Yes. See my post above yours..
it says you have no idea if that was the cause - I had 20/20 vision up to about 3 years ago but now i need reading glasses but IM 50 so its not come as any great surprise and i dont put it down to LJ.I haven.t got the patience or the inclination to research it but I would have thought that any fungal infection would show symptoms within days not years - but hey no doubt some one will read up on it and post.

Aspirin breaks down into far purer acetic acid than vinegar. Lemon juice can cause serious health complications due to fungi. I'm not being stupid man, just careful...

Asprin is also a blood thinning drug so it shouldn't be used in conjunction with injections think about it.
I suggested Lemon & Vinegar cos as a one off they are the easiest things to get your hands on .

In a HR world you shouldn't consider using any of the aboVE & Just smoke teh gear .

Yeah, you're right - I don't know if my problem was caused by using lemon juice and I certainly didn't broach that subject with the doc, but you asked - 'Re lemon juice all us ol timers who used it bitd , have any of you knowledge of anyone having eye trouble?' - so I answered, being an 'ol timer' myself (I'm nearly 50). The point I'm trying to make is that you can have damage to your optic nerve that doesn't necessarily show any 'visible' symptoms in day to day life. The tests I referred to rely heavily on statistics to rule out false positives and at the end all you see is a graph which compares a 'healthy' optic nerve to a damaged one. The damage probably is done within days (if not instantly) rather than years, but you may not know anything about it unless you have these tests done. As you now have to wear reading glasses I'm sure you have already undergone the tests I was talking about, and hyperopia definitely has nothing to do with fungal infections - it's just part of the aging process where your eye muscles are just not capable of focusing on near objects any more. Unless someone is subject to regular eye examinations then they may not know that any damage has been done.

Top advice for PP, brimz. By all means holler at your dsp Monday, PP, but don't give your game plan away; keep The Alliance to yourself for now. And, as I'm sure you know, don't say too much about the DDN affair, either: they won't pay your cab fares and may even send a 'loony/troublemaker on way' alert to the organisers.

Mention in passing the DDN affair to your dsp if you like - it was in Brum last year, too - but it's quite possible your key really does know nothing and, even if she does, there's nothing she can do except hinder at this late stage

only you could get away with this charlie. said in the nicest possible way! i got the apathy, i'm on my way to see my dw...well after my quick smoke. i have things to do today so can't make it anyway. I will mention it to her and get my script upped. was meant to ring her on monday but she could have rang me .. i love you all

Definitely good point on the blood thinner, also if you';re crushing a tablet it's essential you use a micron filter ponti or tiny particles can damage your veins and lungs - the lung condition is progressive and irreversible and not dissimilar to emphysema from smoking tobacco; most unpleasant.. it's called pneumoconiosis or talcosis (if the particles are specifically talc).

+1 on chasing, Brimz!

Or given as Ponti is in the Far East I'd imagine snorting (or podgering) would be even easier than smoking.

EDIT: What am I talking about? Obviously it ain't HCl or you wouldn't be asking about acids. Ignore me. Am a moron sometimes. Chase it.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how I can dilate my pupils without taking something like MDMA or any other recreational drug. Are there any eye drops that will do it ? Meeting someone important soon and they can tell the signs of gear a mile off.

Thanks for reading.
S.

Belladonna. Is also a bit lethal, mind. Is traditionally used to dilate pupils (cos it's supposed to be sexy) and know you used to be able to get eyedrops with it or similar ingredients. Dunno if you can get 'em OTC though. Atropine eyedrops.

Belladonna, would that be the type of thing that comes a a tincture from, health food shops or tablets from a pharmacy or ? Sorry panicing a bit here, valentines and have to meet the girlfriend pinned :-/

Ok health food shop sells Belladonna in 30 capsules wonder if i take a double dose will it work ? Dont care if it makes me a little ill. Better than the other option. . . .

Erm... the type of thing last commonly used in Rennaisance Italy afaik. Modern equivalent is those atropine eydrops (the chemical in belladonna that dilates your pupils). Doubt you'd find it outside of an opthamology clinic tbh. No idea what you could use besides stimulants other than that really.

If you knew you were meeting your girlfriend later why d'ya take heroin? And why would you hide it from her anyway? No need to answer. Is none of my business.

EDIT: That's homoeopathic belladonna. Has no actual belladonna in at all. Homoeopathic remedies are sugar pills + placebo. But feel free to try. Maybe you can placebo pupil dialation?

Sorry to not be much help but those pills will do nothing for you or anybody else. Belladonna is highly toxic so unlikey to be found in healthfood shops.

Sure read as sweetly as meant, old gal...must check out your online pics to get an idea of the full PP visual impact phenomenon as soon as I'm up to it. In a fine irony, the most vicious chest infection in memory took a turn for the worse last night and this morning could barely get out of bed, let alone make to Brum. Shame. But stopping the ciggies dead 3 weeks ago failed completely to clear it and another cold spell didn't help either, so I'll just have to endure what's yet to be cured. Happy Valentine's, each.
