Blondin, intersting what you said about itching and morphine. When I did that IV dilaudid, no itching for several hours. But some proportions is probably metabolizeed to morphine by the liver. Now with this tar I started itching very soon afterwards- but it has a huge norphine content along with a lot of other crap. Can't stop noding.
Charlie, difficult in this town to find connections in public. B ut I was supperised to see how efficient the internet was. Maybe thats why all those dating services are lucrative lol. And there is always Mexico. But that is one hours drive from my door step to the border entrance then another 15 minutes to get a cab (were they hang out). An aside, my friend was traveling on the train from Vienna to Prague. He is a recovering tweaker. So I jokingly issued a "travel advisory" advising him not to take pervitin.

Somehow it survived through the communist era to the present time. My firend said he was aware of that drug and it is still very much around- especially after dark in the streets of Prague. Hope I didn't offend him (he's Jewish in addition to being gay)"pervitin" was the brand name of the drug that fueled the third Reich especially the Blitzkreig. Hitler, the non-smoking, non-drinking, morphine disdaing vegitarian got huge amounts of the drug in his ass.
This friend, B, has lots of interesting stories. He is a finacial consultant. I met him in NA were we became good friends while he was out to San diego (traditional meth capital of the world though the scene has become diversified) on a consulting job ostensibly but mostly to get clean. He is from Lower Manhattan, has an appartement. Decided to get a job in Austin because NYC was too slippery a place for him. He was clean for many decades before relapsing on IV meth (meth is big in the gay scene world wide- sometimes its the only place to find it especially in cities like NYC (coke dominant) and London (coke and speed dominant). Anyway he has some awsome stories about the outdoor dope scene in the East Village "Alphabet City" when he was a Yuppie Junky.
So the word for the day in dope fiend trivia is Pervitin (Czech Meth). Maybe I'll start a thread about this unique scene- I'm goud enough too.

Saw documentary about drug war prior. Its such a crock of shit. This country started the crack epedemic to fund the contras. They thought they would only be poissoning a few blacks in the ghetto. I tried to get a hold of some crack tonight. Aparently coke is undergoing small drought here presently according to my connect- God I love the taste and high of that drug but its evil- like nitrous but it makes your face numb and ears ring, and gives you an epic rush, like getting hit by a sledgehammer- a pleasure hammer. Thank God, relapsing on gear is enough. Gonna to try to keep this recreational. Pray for me, I need it, this strategy has never worked in the past.
Some further stuff about the documentary. This "drug war" has been the biggest threat to liberty and human rights in this country. For instance, drug crimes support a huge privatized prison system. It costs tax payers in this era of "fiscal cliffs" $40,000 a day- 4 times the cost of a daily hospital ICU stay- and we cant aford healthcare- I wonder why.They not only make money off American tax payers but off the free labor of the inmates. I aint no constitutional scholar, but I'm prety sure slavery was outlawed in this country a while back.
The US interst don't want the drug war to end. We spent billions in Colombia over a decade in plan colombia and worked with the post taliban opium warlords (the opium that the US supplied so the Mujahadeen could finace their war against the soviets and undermine soviet morale. A major contributing factor to the great gear drought wasn't just that a poppy blight hit but because the UK was effective at counternarcotics tactics and the US was forced to act against their allies the opium warlords by the UK but by the Russians especially who threatened to invade Afganistan if the US didn't do more interdiction- they even insisted on going along on poppy burning mission

That the international drug war is 40 years old and started by the US president Nixon in 1970-1971 when congress passed the controlled substance act and Nixon declared drugs public enemy nuber 1. In my opinion the drug war started in I believe 1908 after the Shanghai conference which sought to impose international regulations on opium production and unliscensed use. 1914 saw the Harrison Narcotics act illegalizing a wide range of Narcotics in the USA. But prety soon most all other countries fell in line.
So the country that started the drug war over 100 years ago, maybe the longest war in world history or one of, has a morale obligation to end it and a sea of change in public perception is occuring. The UK can play a special role in ending the drug war as well. It would seem you brits have special experience in fighting to uphold peoples' right to use (eg the opium wars).
