Project Will
Bluelighter
Honestly, that is a really bad Idea. It takes weeks of no SSRIs to make a serious difference, and having tried this, fell into a deep and dark hole.
Enjoy your drugs, but please do not stop taking your medications just to boost your high. While you might have a better roll, you will be paying for it over weeks or months.
That being said, it does sound like you are on the higher side of rx medications. When I decided I wanted to try life without Lexapro, I tapered down over a couple months. After a bit I realized how much more I felt emotions - sad movies would bring me to tears. I really loved that. But... Then I started feeling the depression again, and it got really bad. Worse and worse. As life is full of challenges and the changes were so gradual coming off Lexapro, it was hard to point at Lexapro and say that it was the root cause of my emotional changes. Cutting off multiple medications together would blur things much further.
I was so miserable and desperate so I decided to get back on Lexapro and, after a few weeks, I started feeling much better about life. While I miss tearing up watching sad movies and the heightened bittersweet emotions, the cost was too high.
That was a single medication change over about six months. For you to suddenly stop your meds for days or weeks, I can't imagine how it would affect you but based on what you are prescribed it would most definitely be unpleasant at best and likely extremely dangerous.
Rolling is fun, but no way in hell would I take two weeks off Lexapro for a good roll. Life is hard enough, and I still enjoy my drugs while on Lexapro.
Please be safe and, if you decid to reduce your Rx load, talk to a doctor and do it a single Rx at a time.
