Euphoria and nod from codeine/diazepam

Hi people first post but ive been a longtime reader of the forums.

So today i was lucky to have codeine (pure) 30 mg tabs and 10 mg diazepam in abundance.

I am a regular user and have a high tolerance to both.

My day started in a good mood having taken 60 mg diazepam (split doses) yesterday, therefore i slept for a good 9 hours and woke up as fresh as a daisy.

At 9.30 am i took 20mg diazepam and floated to the supermarket to get some shopping done. I bought some beer and had a couple when i got home.

I started to feel pretty good so i took another 20mg diazepam and headed down to the bookies which just so happens to be slap bang next to my local boozer ?.

It gets to 5pm my bets all let me down and after 4 pints i decided to go home.

This is when the codeine started winking at me. (Ive taken 500mg+ on many occasions so i have a good tolerance) so i take 12 tablets 360mg and watch tv.

Within 20 mins that lovely warm codeine squeeze was running through my body. I sat for approx 30 mins before i mustered up the energy to walk 2 meters to the drawer where the diaz were safely stored. I thought i would push the boat out and try 20mg sublingual. Snapped the 2 pills in half and put them under the tongue.

Well i say ! I had barely poured a glass of cider when these kicked in. I have never really considered codeine or diazepam euphoric on there own rather than just "good feelings". But this combo was definately euphoric for me.

Its not a euphoria like the mitsubishi ecstacy tabs from back in the day but oh yes i felt great!

I went downstairs for a cigarette and spoke to my housemate for a while (god knows how i looked to them but i felt great and couldn't really give a shit), then made my way back upstairs and slumped into the sofa.

I began reading about other experiences of diaz/codeine combinations when i believe i may have had a "nod" for the first time.

It was like i could not keep my eyes open but when i closed them it felt great. The boarderline of asleep and awake at the same. I had to keep opening my eyes and moving my head around as i thought falling asleep would be a complete waste of feeling such a nice high.

Could anyone tell me if this was a "nod" i always thought codeine was a weak opiate (and not strong enough to get people nodding) but i personally get nice effects from it therefore (luckily) keeping me away from the harder opiates. Or, could it just be i was simply tired?

Does nodding have that feeling of euphoria or is it just sedation? It is now just past midnight and i'm still buzzing like a fridge but hopefully coherant enough for people to understand.

Anyway sorry about the long post but i think i just had my first nod and thought i would share my experience.

Of course i would never recommend anyone with little to no tolerance to take anywhere near these doses i have consumed.

I consider a nod to be a rush of euphoria to the point where I can't keep my eyes open anymore and my head just floats either forward or backward and I can't stop smiling at how good it feels to let go of my body and drift into pleasant delusions.

I've nodded on Hydrocodone the hardest but codeine always takes more than itself to even touch a high-grade opie nod.

I found your doses of Valium to be quite high in conjunction with your hefty dose of codeine. Be very careful and watch your breathing as these are high doses. I hope you have a decent tolerance.

I found the codeine nod to usually spring up on me. I don't look for it. I know it's very weak and I expect nothing more than a body glow from the opiate. I usually would smoke weed when I took it and would dose 300mg syrup into a cup and drink it Houston style.

I once took Valium with a ~300mg dose in search for the nod and it couldn't compare to what I felt on Hydro.

I recommend you drink WGFJ all day before and lose the high dose Valium and drop it to 5-10mg, with your dose of codeine ~300mg with about 50-100mg of DPH 30mins-45mins after administration of the codeine.. This will definitely give you the action of a strong nod but not the pleasant euphoria that a good nod possesses. Herb is welcome. A cigarette at the peak will definitely give you a glimpse of the pleasant opiate induced utopia.

N.B Codeine has a ceiling effect of 400-420mg iirc. Any more won't be metabolized into Morphine in the liver and would be rendered left to irritate the stomach and may cause unpleasant histamine release and gastric disturbance IME. The DPH would definitely help with this though.

Alcohol should be excluded from the cocktail unless you maybe have ONE beer about an hour before hand to increase absorption by the stomach for your other narcotics.

Oh and you don't wanna take too high a dose of Valium as you are looking for an "opiate" nod so you'd want the effects of your opiate to prevail more than any other drug in the cocktail.


The perfect dosing schedule would be as follows.
Try down a pint and a half of white grapefruit juice all day before you begin dosing on an empty stomach.

2-4 15mg DXM gel caps and a beer 1 hr before dosing codeine.

~300mg Codeine and 5-10mg Valium

1 hour after codeine dose, ~75mg DPH or ~25mg Doxlyamine.

After about 30mins to 45mins smoke a cigarette when you should be peaking on the AHs and it will give you a strong action of a nod.

Smoke some weed when you wish around the peak but not too much.


The Valium will help with any unpleasant effects from the anticholinergic effects from the AHs and weed and the Cigarette will cancel it out completely and introduce the nod.

By then the DXM, beer and codeine would have worked their hardest to give you some decent euphoria and you will experience a worthwhile opiate utopia hopefully.

Yes i do have a ridiculously high tolerance to valium. I can take upto 10 blues and still function reasonably well.

Also with codeine i usually take 400-500 mg + once a week so im pretty well aquainted with the substance.

Im also (unfortunately) a heavy drinker and will religiously drink alcohol whenever valium is consumed.

Im interested in the hydro you mention. I assume you are in U.S.A? As as far as i know the likes of hydo, oxy etc. are pretty exotic opiates to an englishman such as myself.

But as i said i seem to get enough of a buzz from codeine and as H is readily available around this area, i would probably be wise to stay away from them.

I agree that codeine is more of a "feeling" than a. "High", but it is a nice feeling in my opinion, and Mixed with the valium has lead to a very pleasurable evening for me today.

I have never tried the grapefruit juice as a potentiator, but i have read some people conaider it to potentiate both valium and codeine.

I dont know what DXM is but i quite like the itch created by codeine so i tend to steer clear of the amti histamines.

I've always liked codeine & wish it was available at the local pharmacy over the counter.........actually, some of my best highs have come from codeine & hydrocodone.

Could never get much euphoria from morphine, just great & long lasting pain relief.

As mentioned by the other person above, 60mgs of Valium is a bit too much IMO......I would be in lala land with that much Valium, but you did state you have a huge tolerance.

Aa for the nod, yes it seems you did have the nod.......I personally don't like nodding, its so easy to get into it, so I try not to push the envelope.

be very careful bro. Codeine, gin and xanax nearly took my life prob. Comatosed. Dunno how the respiratory depression was cuz I was so amnesic. But I had no tolerance. Just got locked into the drug collection and had the tendency to push it as far as it can go.
