etizolam

It is very strange that temazepam is so easily prescribed despite the fact that it is "officially" indicated for "severe or debilitating insomnia that has not responded to other medications", plus the epidemic of abuse it had caused and the mounting studies that show it is highly toxic compared to other benzodiazepines (plus, the number of OD deaths attributed to it). There are safer alternatives, but maybe not as effective alternatives.

Temazepam is the prototype hypnotic among hypnotic benzos. Similar to how diazepam is the prototype anxiolytic among anxiolytic benzos.

Flunitrazepam is easy to get in Scandinavia, especially Sweden and Norway. It is generally prescribed up there if you say zopiclone failed to work.

I tried lormetazepam while I was in Germany last August and found it to be very, very nice. Similar to temazepam, but less sedating.

Triazolam is the most hypnotic/sedative benzo I have ever done, followed by nitrazepam and then temazepam. After temazepam is flunitrazepam and then lormetazepam. I have tried midazolam orally and was disappointed with the results. I didn't get to try loprazolam or brotizolam while in Germany, unfortunately.

Oxazepam is an anxiolytic and is totally worthless as an hypnotic. Lorazepam can work for very mild insomnia, but nothing serious. The same is true of alprazolam.

Another study here compares temazepam, lormetazepam, and flunitrazepam as hypnotics. For the first 2 hours after ingestion, temazepam had the highest rate of sedation and motor-impairment - with 50% of temazepam treated subjects reporting, 49% of flunitrazepam subjects reporting, and 32% of lormetazepam subjects reporting. As the hours went by, flunitrazepam continued on to hold strong while temazepam and lormetazepam faded (being shorter-acting agents). But for the first 2 hours after ingestion, temazepam eeked a win over flunitrazepam and totally destroyed lormetazepam.

Eitzolam although it doesnt have a overpowering high it still is pretty awesome imho, benzo's are not the best for recreation but you should definatley feel something from 3mg Eitzolam even with tolerance unless your tolerance is extreme. With zero tolerance me and my fiancee can take 1mg each and have a good time. Maybe your pills are bunk, are they from a reliable source? I dont know too much about benzo's, just adding this as a maybe more direct answer to your questions.

Etizolam doesn't hit me that hard. I just got 20mg last week and the first and second day i took 4mg+ and although it definitely felt like i took a benzo, to me it felt like a very very weak benzo.

Dont just take 4mg off the bat though. I know my body very well and dosed that 4+mg OVER TIME. I didnt just take the 4mg suddenly day 1, I worked up to it. Although by day 3 I did eat 4mg right off the bat and did feel a decent buzz.

Me personally etizolam is not what I had hoped it to be: a 'legal' BENZO. instead its something LIKE a benzo. But whatever it definitely has somewhat limited uses and i did just order 30 more of the blue bisected ones with the white middles (what i'm told are the 'best', the first one in the pic of 3. not blue throughout the pill, just the coating with the one bisection).

So as others are saying, take the comparison charts with a grain of salt. Everyones body processes every single individual chemical uniquely. 1 person could process morphine and codeine totally differently, or get MUCH DIFFERENT effects from one benzo to another even. Like to me, I think diazepam is weak already, but i definitely think etizolam is VERY weak. So to me the chart is worthless, I dont even think I could peg either at a number in relation to what I perceive to both be weak benzos.

Like, people say 4mg etizolam =2mg alprazolam, am i right? Well I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THIS, 4mg etiz did not make me feel like i was on a stick. i think the most i took on day 3 (my 20 1mg etizolam lasted me 4 days lol) was 6mg and I felt closer to a stick. Again, dont dose how i did unless you know your body just as well and know how benzo/benzo like drugs affect you personally, and how each INDIVIDUAL BENZO affects you (i tried etiz out for 2 days building my way up to doses gradually over 48 hours).

Etizolam def has some benzo properties for me. Like i def forgot where i put a lotta shit lol...but as i said, very weak

OK. need some help here guys,
I'm very benzo tolerant and have abused etiz for about six months from research chemical sites. Only once I had a blackout and that was taking over a regular 10mg in 2x 5mg doses per day. i.e. 20mg, I don’t know what happened I just woke up next to my computer in the morning, must have been a soft landing! I drink and take co-codamol; all bad interactions I know!
I can't get off the stuff even though it doesn't or ever had a euphoric effect. It just makes me less anxious and if I don't have at least 2mg in the morning I’m completely freaking out by lunchtime, shaking, tight chest, wide pupils feeling hype real.
Around 1994 I got a hold of 1000 diazepam tablets just gone out of date from a well known manufacturer (not sure of half life’s as only a few days out) I necked them all in a couple of months had good times and no withdrawals, could this have lead to my benzo intolerance or is this something specific to etizolam?
I have tried reducing the dose (difficult when in 1mg form) and I have tried stopping, lasting only a few days (above symptoms amplified along with vomiting, tummy troubles and heightened vivid awareness) have been taking thiamine when in withdrawal.
I know I should go to the doctor but it's going to be difficult to explain this one especially when I'm not ready to stop my co-codamol for major knee pain, which he will if he finds out about other drug abuse, I don't use my co-codamol to get high I stick to the prescription.
Should I try getting something less short acting like lorazipam etc and dosing off?
Honest advice welcome please.

P’s most sites are now upping etiz pellets to 2mg, 1mg scored are hard to find now with the white insides due to import regulations to uk. It's cheaper to buy etiz powder but that's looking for trouble if you don't have proper scales!

This is an old thread, but I'll answer your question, regardless. Etizolam is currently not scheduled by the DEA, but if you get pulled over by police, they search you, and find these pills, you might get arrested if the pills cannot be identified and remain in custody until it is proven that the substance isn't prescription or controlled. Whether you will get them back or not, I have no idea, but if you carry them with you, try and keep them in packaging. Perhaps they will see the marked packages, check to be sure it's not controlled, and send you on your way, but I can't promise anything. Research chemicals are tricky when it comes to legality as they sit in a grey area.

I think we should have a mega thread for all the threads about synthetic benzos. Or at least a small and handy for the etiz.

When I was reading MXE reports, and some guy said "I took 1mg Etizolam", and when I saw it randomly mentioned by other people, I gave it no thought. To me it sounds like some kind of Anti-Depressant (and before I just learned there are designer benzos) or maybe some kind of Methcathinone or MDPV type powder.

But I was SO wrong about this stuff. I wish I had known about it my whole life, and I haven't even got to try it yet.

I used to do a lot of Valium and did Xanax or Kalonapin once or twice a month, but only if I was with a girl or had a girlfriend at the time who liked that shit. We would always take 2, and that is usually the blackout dose for either of those (fuck footballs, we only got four-bars and I think it was 2-3mg Kalonapin). And blacking out is fine when you are with a girl, but not when you are alone or with friends. Bad shit happens and hen you wake up, you have no idea what happened. At least when you wake up naked with a bitch, you know what happened.

I personally like Valium the most. I don't like blacking out, it's not fun. Valium is good to take 5-10mg then go to a party and drink like 2 beers at most, if any. The first time you take it (if you take 10mg), I can almost guarantee that you are going to pass the fuck out, and be asleep for at least an hour. But after that, it's just relaxed awesome high, great with smoking weed. And you don't pass out when you take it after the first time, unless you drink (or take more than 10mg which is unnecessary), then it's possible again.

So, I can't wait to see what's up with some religious benzos :) Instead of the regular medical :) (I think of any alkaloid as a religious teacher in some way, but I do not like the way pharma slings them like cures)

We don't do legal questions in BDD. Also since this is a bump of an older thread I'm going to close it. Start a new one if you have valid non legal questions. PM any queries.
