i guess that this is not advanced but i don´t get an answer in "other drugs"

etizolam + tramadol (in doses that don´t cause dangerous respiratory depression)
etizolam + amitriptilyne

are those combos safe? because i read that etizolam does have some similarities to zyprexa.

ps: the combinations are for two different people. i don´t take amitryptiline. my girlfriend does.

thanks :)

Etizolam has structural but not pharmacological similarities to olanzapine (zyprexa).
Olanzapine has very mild binding to GABA-A site but it is not enough to be clinically relevant. Otherwise they share no mechanism of action.

Etizolam + tramadol seems to me no more dangerous than normally mixing benzos and opiates. I.e. don't do it, it's a bad idea etc.
Dunno about amitriptyline, can't see a good recreational reason to mix them though, better safe than sorry and abstain.

thanks, for your answer. :)

my girlfriend takes amitryptiline because of her depression.
and i would like to know if it would be safe for her to take etizolam.
