Etizolam vs other RC benzo

I have heard huge hype regarding Etizolam euphoria. Having major anxiety issues and wanting something with a euphoric not sedative quality Etiz seemed liked the one for me. However, after acquiring etiz and trying 0.5 mg to begin with I felt nothing but sedation and later tried 1mg with the same effect. Question is are there any RC benzos available that can primarily cause a sense of euphoria without the intense sedative affects? I have looked into Diclazepam, Clonazolam, Flubromezolam, pyrazolam , and Nifoxipam. Does anyone have any experience with any of these?

Personal background: I have never abused any substance, do not drink, smoke, or do any other recreational drugs. Have tried xanax briefly and have taken temazapam as a sleep aid at a very low dose, which did not help the sleep, but worked wonders for my anxiety stemming from severe ptsd. US Dr's in my area do not prescribe any benzo regularly and SSRI's make me extremely sick.

Welcome to the site

If your finding the dose to sedating why not reduce the amount your taking ? There is a great thread about benzos here - I think that is the third version of that thread so you can read the earlier versions of it also.

Personally I find etizolam to be the most euphoric with mild sedation compared to any other RC benzos out there. Beyond Etizolam things tend to get more heavy imo. For instance I find clonozolam to be most euphoric but also the most sedating. I wouldn't even open up that can of worms if I were you. Diclazepam has little to no euphoria at all, but works great as a maintenance benzo.

Since you have legit anxiety, I would steer clear of euphoric benzos as they are way more addictive. The state of not being anxious is enough to make me feel euphoric on most days.

Cosmic Giraffe thanks for your insight and advice!
I think I should have used another word besides euphoria, "normal " just seemed inadequate....haha

Thank you Bearlove
I took your advice and tried .025 mg with the same effect. Not sure if the brand plays any part in effectiveness, my current research involves Etilee-1, which is commonly known as Lee to my understanding.
Thank you also for sharing the thread, I found it very informative, and will continue to research, wish me luck, will update with any changes .

Update:
Dr actually prescribed me klonopin 1mg twice daily today. But it seems to make me feel very dull, almost stupid, unmotivated, no appetite, and edgy....anyone else experience these effects?
Was on Restoril (Temazepam) 15mg for a few months once daily at nighttime and it was completely opposite for me, felt very happy, motivated, great appetite, and all anxiety virtually gone. Downside was it only lasted 4 hours max and of course tolerance built up quite quickly.

My current dr seems to have no problem prescribing these meds as I have a legitimate reason for taking them and do not abuse them, so any suggestions on whether I need to continue the klonopin for awhile to see if the effects differ after some time or suggestions on what something I should ask to try next?
Thanks to all the advice and support....anxiety & ptsd suck....
