Hi Guys,

I was wondering how these 3 types of benzodiazepine compare.

I have only tried etizolam at 2mg maximum and diazaepam at 10mg maximum but have yet to try diclazepam.

How to these three compare in effects, dosage and so on.

My main usage is for getting to sleep after an MDMA or 25b or other stimulant nights. Last time i dropped 1mg etizolam it was not enough to knock me out after coming back home from party, after 30 mins or so of hestitation dropped another 1mg and fell asleep and slept from 6 am to 2.pm (which for me is very long) without benzos I'm barely able to sleep one hour or two and feel extremely drained and wired afterwards.

I have access to Etizolam and Diclazepam, which of these two is better for falling asleep after crashing from stimulatns and what are the safe doses for a 71kgs male, with not much benzo tolerance? Are they as forgining as diazepam which you virtually cannot overdose on (within a reason of course)

peace

Do you drink alcohol on the other stimulant nights. Cause if you do treat it as mixing downers. (Usually the stimulant metabolizes quicker than alcohol + downers, dangerous especially while sleeping)

well as much as i love etizolam id have to say that diazepam still has that place in my heart. it just always does what i need it to do. etiz works fine for a little while and i do mean little. before you know it youre eating a blister pack per day. when i was taking my highest dose (12mg) i woudnt even be getting the effects i wanted.
the reason i go with valium is 1. its a real benzo and 2. you can skip days, taper more easily. Im on 27.5 mg's per day and i can get away with taking 30mg every other day. the long half life is what i love about it. the next day youre still on it.
as far as those new benzo-esque rc's, i dont go there. i just dont trust a powder or hand pressed tab.

I'd agree with phoeski, here, the long half life of the diaz is preferable to etiz. :)

Diclazepam was a HUGE disappointment, considering the fact that fellow BLer's compared it to the hypnotic euphoria of temazepam. Temazepam and diclazepam shouldn't be used in the same sentence! Haha

Etizolam is the only thienodiazepine, benzodiazepine-like RC that I honestly loved.

Diazepam blows any RC benzo's outta the water though.

I understand for many diclazepam is useless for recreational purposes but as most GPs are ignorant when it comes to things like the Ashton manual, having a benzo like diclazepam with a fairly long half life when diazepam is unavailable, for dissolving in something like propylene glycol to use for accurate titration is very useful.

I have read probably hundreds of etizolam reviews/trip reports and the general consensus seems to be that this is quite an enjoyable benzo for most. I certainly love it! I know pyrazolam hasn't been mentioned but this other legal benzo-derivative is also very useful. It really does produce very little in the way of sedation in comparison to other benzos and as such is ideal if you need to function, in job interviews for example. I actually really enjoy the effects of the drug in it's own right.

Having these RC benzos is like a double-edged sword or a gift and a curse. I really hope addiction and dependence isn't an inevitable consequence of these drugs being readily available, but knowing I have an effective benzodiazepine available is reassuring because I've been in situations where I have legitimately needed them and haven't been able to have them simply because of what's on my medical records. Powdered etizolam is just so damn cheap compared to the tablets, it's awesome!

i dont drink alcohol, maybe one shandy so it doesnt really count as it is only 2% alcohol, alright so i'll be getting some etizolam as mayday poland is coming in 10 days :)

Poland is a lovely country, I'm going to be coming back there this Christmas to visit family. I may take along some etizolam with me if it's legal there, which I assume it probably is. I can't wait.

Got a load of etiz and about 50mg of diclazepam, will report back soon enough to give my opinion on these. I haven't got any exp. with diazepam in fairness but I do love etizolam. From all I have read, etiz is far superior to diclazepam in terms of potency (mg for mg). I normally use etiz as my own anti-anxiety meds as I find it way better than quetiapine or sertraline.. its cheap as chips if you can find a decent retailer too. Etiz is the best value for money in my opinion. From exp. etiz is incredible at sorting out a comedown from MDMA or even cocaine... try 1mg of etizolam, you will definitely feel something from that!

if you draw a curve of effect vs time I think that etiz and diclazepam end up with about the same area under the curve

etiz has a stronger peak but shorter duration, diclazepam a lower peak but longer duration

I found both of them very effective at providing long deep sleep after a psychedelic trip. I don't have tolerance either, and 2 mg is more than enough to put me out (1.5 mg will do the trick, 1 mg is sufficient). As others have suggested, the onset of diclazepam is longer, so if you want more immediate effects go for etizolam.

What are the diclazepam pills like? Any coloring?
I remember diazepam pills that I had prescribed were simple and only had filler on them to keep the pill together.
I'd get some more Etiz but the blue dye shit is really off-putting as it instantly comes off and I can't help but imagine the inside of my stomach being all blue. 8(

Id say stick to etizolam but the actual blister packs made by pharma companies, not the crappy pellets. Its great for someone with low tolerance of benzos who wants to fall asleep. You should dose about 1.5mg if 2mg was too much. IF you got the pellets dont forget the dosages will vary quite a bit from pill to pill, and also batch to bathc, thats why you should stick to the blister packs.

Alright, I sort of forgot about those. You talking about the brand name ones like 'Etilaam' or whatever it's called, right?
