Etizolam Legality In Thailand

FRIENDLY REMINDER: This is supposed to be a harm reduction site, not a smuggling advice site.

There is nothing wrong with giving a truthful, straight "yes" or "no" to a question like "Is drug foo legal in country bar?" -- although preferrably mention the specific law, e.g. "Acting the tit in public places act 1997, section 15, paragraph b, subclause ii", to enable independent verification. Dates are especially important, because drug laws do change over time. If you are not 100% sure, then please don't post; and certainly do not make "practical suggestions".

At the other end of things, nobody should be accepting as official legal advice, anything that was not given as such by a trained professional acting in that capacity for payment.

I too have been to the Phi Phi's - kayaking.

As I said - check your route. The Middle East (where I travel a lot and a common route to Thailand) has some very random laws, E cigs and laser pens would have you pulled quicker than having a few blister packs (of anything, based on my experience).

If you have some random named tablet and are stopped, your going to have trouble. If you have a few (one or two) common named tablets (valium, ambien, xanax etc) then you might be able to get away with 'I take them for the flight' but if you have a shit load more in your luggage your going to have problems.

Take what you need before leaving, buy valium in Thailand (OTC), take a few with you for the flight.

This is fully harm reduction as if you get caught smuggling drugs in the Middle East ...

I had trouble with prescribed meds going through Bahrain (via Kathmandu return Dehli). Thankfully I had my repeat prescription note with docs details on it etc. I had some codeine in my hand luggage as well, but it was ok. Still, not great to be pulled out and all your stuff questioned in such a place.

Bahrain is normally quite relaxed compared to Dubai - Dubai is a nightmare. Mind you I did get fined in Bahrain for having an extra bottle of Duty free :D - I told them, just keep the bottle but no, I had to get fined. Flights from Thailand are flagged in the Middle East for weapons as you can buy them on the street in Thailand.
