I know everyone will have their own tolerances to them, but ive been taking more than i said i was going to originally. I'm currently taking anywhere between 6-12mg a day and it doesn't seem to have all these great effects that apparently come with this. This i take all within a 16 hour gap, spacing dosage out.

quote wiki:

It possesses
amnesic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative and skeletal muscle relaxant properties.

[h=2]Dosage[edit][/h]
  • Anxiety disorders associated with depression : 1 mg two to three times a day (maximum 3 mg per day)
  • For panic disorder (associated with agoraphobia): 0.5 mg two times per day (maximum 1 mg per day)
  • For insomnia: 1–2 mg once daily before bedtime[6]
A 1 mg dose of etizolam is approximately equivalent to a 10mg dose of diazepam.

Could this be that I just have a really high tolerance to this, or would be noticing it without noticing it>?

Thanks for info guys

if youre taking that much you either have fake pills or are just like many other people, and dont get a lot of effects from certain benzos, until, before you know it, youre taking way more than you should and get all sloppy and still dont think you can feel anything. etizolam is a little more subtle in some ways compared to something like diazepam or alprazolam

be careful. taking 6-12mg daily could easily start getting you addicted after a few weeks

Tolerance to benzos can occur very rapidly, and etizolam is very close to being a benzo as I understand it. If you aren't satisfied by it, taper down slowly and stop taking it. If its withdrawals are anything like a benzo's, going cold turkey can cause seizures and general feeling of your brain ripping apart. Your dosage (6-12mg) is not THAT crazy, that's good.

For all intents and purposes you may as well treat etizolam as a benzo. There are subtle differences, but addiction potential is as high and sudden WDs can be extreme if it's taken for a prolonged period.

To the OP: if it's not doing much of anything for you, stop taking it. It's possible for this or any benzo to appear not to be doing much but still have you addicted and subjected to awful withdrawals. Don't push it. If you don't have nasty anxiety to begin with, messing with benzos can create anxiety which persists for a very long time even after stopping the medication.

Do you have pressed Etz pills or blister packs of Etilaam, Etizest, Etizola, Sedekopan, Pasaden or Depas?- out of interest. I ask because in my experience and other documented info strength between pressed and blister packs is astonishing. Also what do you take it for? Recreational, anxiety, sleep etc?

Etz are basically a thienodiazepine a tweak to the benzodiazepine.Everyone is different but I kicked this nasty little habit recently. Personally I believe tolerance builds up fairly quickly. I took them for insomnia and comedowns.Possible for some to go cold turkey but probably advisable to taper down from your particular daily dose. The rebound insomnia and the horrific lucid dreams on going cold (daily dose less than yours on a usual basis) was not pleasant though. I am a bit unclear as to what you are seeking advice on re. Etz..give us a bit more info as to what your query, concern, worries etc are.

In a bag, zip click lock one. I think they slightly work so i'm thinking there not fakes, just think i may need to try another, maybe one that is a benzo, altohugh etiz is sort of a benzo in respect. Thanks

I took benzodiazepines for 9 years. As I look back, I must say I didn't really feel well after taking my first estazolam pills, it made me extremely chilled out, but I also couldn't remember much afterwards and I was very sleepy. I started enjoying benzodiazepines when I built up some tolerance and they stopped making me weak. I thought that I couldn't function without them with time, but I was so wrong. As a matter of fact during last few years I was feeling bad all the time because of benzodiazepines. When I quit clonazepam ~3 months ago, I soon realized it's actually opioids that I can't function without, because I can't stand it mentally when I'm out.

I suggest you deeply think whether you really need this habit, because you're basically getting very little for a lot of suffering when you eventually want to stop. Etizolam is a triazolothienodiazepine and in my experience tolerance to it or brotizolam grows as fast as it does with triazolobenzodiazepines like alprazolam or estazolam, faster than with regular benzodiazepines.

Im screwed to a point. I suffer from anxiety and panic too much in stupid situations etc, but my doc wont presrcibe diazepam because its too addictive..... (maybe my doc doesn't think its that bad, maybe it isn't and just been me thinking i need to be on something like this) Ok, i appreciate that, but when you think you need something to help you calm down, relax, function to a point, and come across RC's, etiz looked quite good.

Is any one on anything else that seems to work for you and at certain doses?
